hii okay lets do this. before anyone asks we changed 'alter' to 'people' bc we dont like the term alter Q: How many people are there? A: Around 17-18. Q: Who was the first to form? A: Ray Q: How long have you known? A: Not as long as we should've. About four months as of writing this Q: Describe your inner world A: Don't have much of one. We pretty much just have the front, middle, and back. Front is just kind of floating around in a void and talking. Middle is kind of a dormant state. Back is where people go when they don't wanna front for a while. Also the archives. I do not know what's back there but Blackhole does. Q: Main means of communication? A: Talking via our chat on a google doc or just talking in front Q: Show us something a headmate made A: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1316860230 <- drawn by Ray Q: What type of headmates do you have? A: Primarily fictives. A few brainmades. We are all traumagenic, even the fictives. The short answer is that we attach ourselves to characters most after trauma and then split. Q: How old is everyone? A: Most of us are teens. A few exceptions. Q: Show us your face claims A: ..no. Q: Show us your voice claims A: Also no. Q: Any communication tips? A: Make a google doc or notebook page for chatting if you wanna talk with people who aren't fronting while you are. Q: Tips to allies? A: Be understanding, be patient, don't complain if your friend isn't fronting Q: Do you want to integrate? A: No. While it's hard, we find comfort in our sysmates and do not wish to become a singlet again. It didn't end well last time. Q: What's your system name? A: Vertex System Q: Do you have any subsystems? A: No. Q: What do y'all disagree on? A: Quite a bit. We all have our own opinions on controversies and such. For example, Ray is firmly pro-endo while another headmate is more on the fence about endogenic plurality. Q: What are the religions of each person? A: Mostly atheists. A few people believe in reincarnation or wandering spirits, but no mainstream religions or gods. Q: Have you 'come out' as a system? A: To friends and online, yes. To the body's family, no. We would be called crazy and do not wish to go to an institution. Q: How's your memory? A: Depends on the day. We don't have like... huge memory gaps, but we'll often forget anything that wasn't a major event. We also cannot attach faces to bodies when we think. Unsure if this is a memory thing or not. Q: Any tips for new systems? A: Don't try to fight your headmates. It gets easier. Q: What songs do you associate with multiplicity? A: Creature by Half-Alive, Echo by Crusher-P, Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn by Evelyn Evelyn, Body by Mother Mother, Careful What You Wish For by Jack Harris (feel free to ask about our reasoning for these) Q: Can you edit your inner world? A: No. Q: Are any of the alters LGBT? A: All of us, actually. Q: Are you all comfortable in the body? A: No. None of us are. Q: Who is the host? A: Ray is. Sam and an anonymous person are co-hosts. Q: Does anyone ever feel like they want their own bodies? A: A lot of headmates that are in-system dating wish they had separate bodies so they could interact with their partners outside of the mind. Q: Are different people in control of different parts of you? A: Sort of. We do not control different body parts, but the different 'sectors' of the mind sort of belong to certain people. The front is Ray and Sam's domain. Middle is free-reign, sort of a no-man's land. The back/archives are where Blackhole and the body reside. Q: Have you been diagnosed yet? A: No. And we do not intend to be. Q: How often do you switch? A: Depends on the day. Often we switch between days or in the middle of the day. We switch more when we're stressed. Q: What are the mannerisms of each alter? A: Let's see... Sam is genuinely terrible at masking Anonymous dissociates a lot more than anyone else Blackhole is the calmest and often more parentel and therapeutic GB tends to write and talk like she's making notes or writing a lab report Two and Horace will accidentally speak British /hj
