...Rue stood still, staring at Solar as his words burned and echoed throughout her mind. Despite that, she didn't move a single muscle. The candycorn glared at her with rage, gritting his teeth. "I said GET OUT! FREAK!" He screamed at her, his clenched fist turning white with how tightly he was gripping onto himself, stopping oil from flooding into other parts of his body. Foodie stared up at her sister with a mix of horror, hate, and pure pain in her eyes. The sister she thought she knew, the one she had known for years- who could've guessed that she had something.. dark.. hidden within herself? She was horrified. Avoiding her gaze further, Foodie gazed down at Eclipse, concern and fear in her eyes. "Are you just going to stand there uselessly? I've told you twice now. Get out of here." Solar hissed, his dark orange eyes flashing a brief glow of red for a split second. The fallen angel still refused to speak or move, and continued to stare at the twink. Finally, she spoke. "You don't decide when I choose to leave, *Eclipse*. Sorry." She hissed darkly. The twink's eyes blazed with fury, hate glowing rapidly in his red eyes. Yet even with his reaction, Rue smirked coldly, her purple eyes becoming more radiant and bright by the moment that passed. Nexus closed his eyes, then slowly opened them. "Rue.. if you stay here any longer, it's just going to make things even more worse, even just for yourself. You said you wanted to go to Ally's." He said quietly, his tone turned down a few octaves. The fallen angel scowled, but she turned to face him. "Whatever. Don't ask me to come back here. Not for a while, at least." She hissed, her eyes flickering to Mercury. Her brother shook their head slowly, but concern was deep in his eyes. "Alright.. just take the time you need. We're both here if you need us." Rue wordlessly walked straight to the front door, then froze in her steps. For a moment she disappeared again, only to re-appear while clutching the plush of Moon tightly in her grip. Foodie stared at her silently with tears slowly falling down her face. "Don't even bother coming back here ever again. You've lost your mind, you freak. You're not welcome here!" Solar snarled, gritting his teeth as he stared at Rue, whose back was turned to the rest of them. She ignored him, opening the front door without a glimpse of a glare or anything. "I think you're kind of right. In fact, I kind of like it," the rebellious angel growled. After that, she walked through the doorway, leaving the inside of the house completely. Before she took any steps further, Rue slammed the door shut so loudly it echoed throughout the entire house. Her brothers - and her angelic sister - watched silently - through the window - as she opened a portal, then stepped into it. From upstairs, the quiet sound of kids crying floated from downstairs. ==== "I knew all along that there was something about her. That first day that Moon met her- I knew something was up with her." Solar hissed, clenching his jaw tightly as he spoke. Eclipse climbed off of the floor, taking Foodie's hand as support. Solar turned to look at Nexus, seeking out to see his reaction to his words. However, despite his brother's words, Nexus didn't seem to have the hatred in his eyes, unlike Solar. "..That being the case, yeah. But what can we do about it now?" He pointed out finally, turning to look at the shortie. The natural twink opened his mouth to protest, but then Mercury stepped in. "Nex has a point. Besides, you don't know how much she's gone through like me, Foodie, and the rest of us do." They said defensively. His eyes caught Foodie's tear-stained stare, and their shoulders tensed. "..That doesn't mean I'm not pissed off about what she's done right now. It doesn't give her an excuse." He added, narrowing his eyes. Foodie swallowed, her eyes flicking back down to the floor. A single tear fell down her face as Eclipse wrapped his arms around her comfortingly. "She's.. not the same sister anymore. I.. I don't even know if I can bring myself to forgive her." She whispered quietly, trembling in her best friend's grip. Nexus looked at Solar again, and he sighed tiredly. "I don't believe she's going to be alright on her own- or even with Ally. Ever since Moon's died-" he started, then cut himself off, watching as Sun walked downstairs, seeming to be as pale as a ghost, almost. His eyes met Nexus', and he swallowed. He fiddled with his rays as he spoke. "With all honesty.. I don't think we can claim that she won't be alright with Ally. Rue did tell us that, other than their issues and problems that kept getting worse, the whole thing of them two being a thing wasn't entirely bad. If I remember correctly." Solar scowled, huffing irritably under his breath. "You're seriously going to consider if she's going to be okay or not? After what JUST happened? If it wasn't for Foodie she probably would've killed Eclipse!" The twink snarled. Mercury gave him a blank stare(+)
Then rolled their eyes. "Roughly about last year, you didn't care whether Eclipse was alive or not. Now all of a sudden, you do." They stated, looking faintly annoyed. The Dorito themed animatronic scoffed. "Oh hush-" "Don't tell me to hush, Dorito boy. You were once an edgy villain, too, remember?" Mercury mocked, making Eclipse himself scowl. "That wasn't technically me. That was the older version of myse-" he started to argue, before Merc cut him off again. "It's still a version of you. Literally, there's hardly no difference! Besides, you're starting to gain memories back with help, so-" "Can we just stop arguing for one minute?!" Foodie snapped, frowning deeply. The group looked at one another, then gazed back at the innocent younger sibling. Both Sun and Nexus sighed quietly under their breaths. "Whatever. I'm going upstairs to call Cosmos and Terra, and see how they're coping after Moon's death." Solar said bluntly, turning his back from the others and wordlessly leaving the room. Mercury put their head in their hands, exhaling silently. His shoulders relaxed as Nexus wrapped his arms around them comfortingly. Eclipse looked at Foodie, his expression a mix of hate - from earlier, with what happened between him and Rue - and exhaustion. "..I'm sorry. This doesn't make it any easier for any of us, does it?" He muttered quietly, sitting down on the couch, watching as Foodie followed suit. The two gays teleported out of the room, leaving Eclipse, Sun, and Foodie alone together. "No, it doesn't make anything any easier. I.. I never knew Rue had that side to her. No one knew about it- none of us did." Foodie mumbled, her eyes glued to the floor. Sun's rays twitched at her words. "Did she ever tell you guys why she got banned?" He asked, his gaze returning to the angel. Foodie then tensed, which leaded to Eclipse sitting up and looking at her with a hard look in his expression. "Foodie?" Eclipse pressed gently, his voice surprisingly soft and tender. Unlike how he spoke to everybody else. "It's... Not my place to say what happened. I know a bit about what happened - Vi, Mercury, Cedar, and Katnip know more about it - but it's not my say to say what happened." She looked up, her face falling with a frown. "..I'm sorry." The angel added. "Don't be sorry. We wouldn't expect you to tell us everything- Eclipse and I wouldn't, anyway. Solar, on the other hand..." Sun trailed off, tension replacing his voice. Of course, Foodie and Eclipse both knew, anyways. Just then, a portal opened, and the trio stopped to stare at it with a dead serious expression. Maybe a hint of dread. To their surprise, Vi walked into the room casually, the portal closing behind them, as they glanced around to look at the other three. "Why are you guys so tense? I literally just got back from being with Spooky and the kids. We just had a divorce." The feline stated casually, their tail flickering slightly as his pupils dialated around the space. Foodie bit her bottom lip, her eyes leaving Vi's, and trailing down to the floor again. Eclipse sighed quietly, gently twirling her hand around his finger. Vi then glanced around the room, their tail and ears pricking up; on edge. Something felt wrong. "Where's Femme-Queen?" They said finally, his voice flat and serious. Sun looked at the male feline, swallowing anxiously. "She.. snapped. Lost it. She almost killed Eclipse, in a way." Foodie said finally, her voice tremoring slightly. Vi stared at her. "Where's the others?" They pressed. "The gays teleported out of the room, so we're not sure if they're in their room or have gone somewhere together. The others are upstairs. I think Katnip is with the kids." Sun replied, brushing his hand through his rays exhaustedly. "Right. I'm going to see Solar." Vi muttered, walking upstairs. == Shortly == Solar huffed. "I know she's a sister to you, Foodie, and the others. But I can't stop myself from hating her now." The feline rolled his eyes. "You saw her as a sister too, twink. You can't say that you didn't." He pointed out, frowning. The twink fell silent. "..Maybe I did. But after what I just saw? I don't want her back in the house ever again." He mused, narrowing his eyes as he turned his back to Vi. The feline's tail lashed once, irritably, but they said nothing. They couldn't change his mind, after all. === Meanwhile.. == After a moment of knocking and a pause, a hoove opened the entrance, gazing down at her. "What do you want?" Rue sighed quietly, her tail lashing slowly. Despite that, she wasn't irritated anymore. Almost.. relieved, but still stressed and anxious. "I'm having a break from everybody else. And I'm here to help you with your problems. You really think I'm going to leave you by yourself, even after what happened between us? I still worry about you." ~~~~~~ Chpt 51?
