Lore: So the first world war ended similarly to how it did in real life. All of the central powers fell, Russia was sent into anarchy, and after a few years, a new communist regime would set rise about the continent. But, the treaty played out a bit differently. Firstly, Italy actually got what they wanted and were not robbed of their wishes, and were actually respected for helping out with the war effort. Some of the coastal areas of the northern Balkans were given to Italy instead of being given to Serbia. This is partly because both Britain and France knew that one of these three nations (Serbia, Italy, Greece) would get too big for their britches and try to bite off more than they can chew, so to contain their allies, both the nations gave them respectable lands in the treaty. Speaking of Greece, they did take a little bit of Southern Bulgaria. Bulgaria itself was left alone because the allies assumed that Bulgaria would've already gotten it's economy and military crushed by the war so there was no point in dividing up the land like it was some threat. For the Ottomans however, a lot of crap went down, possibly becoming one of the most severe treaties that was placed in this war. Even though Woodrow hated this idea, at this point people just wanted him to shut up and he was out-voted because a lot of nations just wanted land and also wanted to see the Turks squirm. Greece got a lot of land, Italy got a bit of the Southern Coast, France got Syria and Southern Turkey, Armenia and Kurdistan became independent, and the UK got a lot of it's colonies. Hungary was allowed to keep some of Translyvania as the allies decided Austria was mainly to pick on for this and Hungary could be lot of easily (Romania was mad but they got Besserabia so they're frustration was contained for a bit) 1920 Polish v Soviet war did happen, but the Poles didn't push the Soviets all the way back, just a little bit after Mircale of Vistula. The Poles were still content with this because this was still a great victory for them. Now, Germany. Germany is treated the exact same as Versailles, but France created an independent Rhineland instead of it being a DMZ. The French have been supplying Belgium and Rhineland with money and aid. So yeah.
