[click/space] In 2021, I deleted almost all of my projects on @MrMeowMeowPenguin. Not just put them in the trash, but most of them were permanently deleted. I then moved to this account and resumed activity here, abandoning MMMP. A year or so later, I logged into MMMP and checked my messages, to find when someone liked an old project of mine. Curious, I clicked the project to find that it loaded successfully. This project was supposed to be deleted completely, but I could still access it! I saved the sb3 file and proceeded to not touch the account again. A few days ago, I was trying to gather files I didn't need so that I could clear up space on my PC, and I found the sb3 file. I realized that maybe I could recover most, if not all, of those projects that I had so stupidly deleted. I made @MEOWPENG-ARCHIVE as an account to reupload all of the projects I could find. I found 17 projects so far from links in studios I was in and links within said projects, but I know there were more than that. Right now I am manually typing project IDs based on a general range (around 45000000 total IDs) to find the rest! Tedious as heck but it's all I can do right now. I wish I could search Scratch for comments made by specific people ;;
Moral of the story: DONT GIVE UP because even if the Scratch Help Center says completely deleted projects aren't recoverable, they are! If you can't find links then obviously it's a lot of work to manually search project IDs but it's still possible! (I have yet to find anything by manually inputting IDs but it should work) Also Shard (the "lost comic series" on the TN) is actually almost completely lost even if I found the two Scratch chapters because I (stupidly) threw out the paper version which had the original title and more of the story written out. The Scratch version and a few small drawings are all I have left of it ;-; At least Pack Attack I still have the sketchbook I had used to draw it before posting haha.
