quibble's guide to dandy's world! ✿ what is dandy's world? ✿ stuff 2 know ✿ the "roles" ✿ features ✿ good toons for starters ✿ not-very-good toons ✿ tips ✿ good teams ✿ how 2 get to higher floors?? --- ✿ what is dandy's world? you might've seen the popular game called "dandy's world appearing on your feed or fyp on websites like ytube, tt, pin, etc. but what really is it, and why do so many people love this game? dandy's world is a popular game on roblox (if you haven't heard of it, i'm convinced u live under a rock) with a endless surviving game style. many people love the diverse arts and animations that surround this friendly, mild-horror game. (the only "scary" think in this game is when you get surprised attacked by a twisted) ✿ stuff 2 know there are a few simple thing you NEED to know! 1. machines: machines are the primary things you must complete to move onto a next floor. interact with one while getting close to one, and occasionally, a skillcheck will pop up. press the "skillcheck" button when the red line is on the silver or white sections! (on treadmill machines, quickly tap the water droplet thing multiple times) 2. toons: the cute little characters you play! each one has a different playstyle,as they all have different stats, such as being fast or slow, and having lots of stamina, or only 100 to spare. 3. TWISTEDS: the not-so-very-cute and more of a i-will-be-your-demise version of toons. these are not playable. getting close to one will make you lose hearts, and if you lose all three, you're deader than dead 4. hearts: hearts is the amount of health you have during a game, and how many times you can get hit by a twisted unitl you're out. however, some twisteds (the lethals, dandy and dyle) will unalive you instantly regardless of how many hearts you have. 5. elevators: both in the lobby (where you first spawn in) and during matches (called runs). in the lobby, you have to go inside one to go into a run, and during a run, you must get there before panic mode (when all machines on the current floor are completed) ends, or you'll explode. 6. abilities: each toon has a specific ability that boosts gameplay, and can be classifid into three sections: active, passive, or toggle. active abilities are abilities that you can activate by pressing the button on the bottom right corner (next to your inventory), or pressing f on your keyboard. passive abilities cannot be activated, and always affect you or can be triggered by something. toggle abilities means that you can turn on or off your ability anytime you want. 7. inventory: the three (four for bassie) circles next to your ability button. it holds the items you picked up/received during your run. doesn't save tho 8. trinkets: trinkets are equippable items you earn throught playing, whether it's from getting twisted research or buying it from dandy's shop. each have special effects- but read the effects CAREFULLY, some debuff you instead of giving cool buffs. 9. tapes: currency during runs, and it can be used to buy stuff from dandy's shop DURING RUNS ONLY. 10. ichor: currency you earn throught the game, and it can be used to buy toons and skins to decorate your toons, as well as trinkets. ✿ the "roles" many, many, MANY players have adapted to these main roles: - extractor: people who go and do machines on the floor - support/healers: people who use their abilities to help their teammates, such as healing or dropping useful items - distractor: people who keep the twisteds on themselves at all times so extractors + supports have an easier time ✿ features there are many features in dandy's world! - events: currently, there are the spring, halloween, and christmas events! each one of them has special currency and limited-time toons/twisteds that come around every year! during events you can also get themed skins for toons! - toon of the week: a brand-new feature that isn't actually weekly, but is for a toon that gets a skin you can purchase for robux, and quests you can do to get awesome rewards! do all three quests to receive the golden version of the totw! - advent calender: a calender that only appears during events. check back every day to get the event's currency, as well as stickers. finish every day to get the advent calender skin! - stickers: cool icons you use to communicate with others! there are some free ones, but they're boring >:( you can get more stickers at dyles shop! each are 250 (i think), and the GOLDEN BRICK (dun dun dunnnnn) sticker is 10k... gulp - gamepasses: there are two types of gamepasses (as of now): skin pack gamepasses, and a sticker wheel gamepass! skin pack gamepasses are 200 robux each, and reward you with 5 skins that are beautifully decorated and show off sparkle effects and trails! some are limited-time for events only, like the spring-time and snow-time packs! the sticker wheel gamepass grants an additional 2 sticker wheels, totaling in 4 sticker wheels to load up cont. below ⇩
read this first ⇧ ✿ good toons for starters when you first join, you get two options for your first toon. i'd reccomend picking poppy, she has a very good ability that helps you to escape tricky situations! don't worry, you can get boxten later :) here is a toon list for you as well! - finn: fast extraction and an ability that makes you literal speed if like 3 machines get completed at once - tisha: fast and a good supporting ability. slightly bad extraction speed tho - rodger: slow but AMAZING for collecting research, and good extraction - toodles: not the best, but euhuhhhhhghghh, i mean if you want her for pebble later.. - looey: this is why you need poppy (u need her mastery for them) he has good extraction and an OVERPOWERED ability!!! - flyte: amazing spring-limited toon with fast speed/extraction, and an almost lifesaver ability - eclipse - great halloween-limited toon that has a very cool passive that makes u speedy and SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND!!!! - rudie - temu flutter but christmas, but he's good if ur borke on ichor or can't get the requirements for flutter ✿ not-very-good toons why did i include this? cause i don't want u to waste currency on toons that won't really help as a starter - shrimpo: he has the absolute worst stats in the freaking galaxy. get him later if you want a good challenge - boxten/poppy: if you picked one, don't get the other until a bit later. starter toons are toons that are just basically to get you to play enough for a new toon - eggson/ribecca: they're ok, ig, but they don't really have good abilities like rudie does - i'm gonna regret not putting more am i ✿ tips - for trinkets, try getting research on poppy! she has a good trinket that gives you a decent run speed boost. her trinket, pink bow, is also good for starter distractors paired with dog plush (toodles' trinket) - don't pick too slow toons (both speed and extraction-wise) if you're distracting, make sure to have at least a 4-star speed toon with at least 3 stars in stamina, and use dog plush and speedy shoes, or another speed buffing trinket instead of speedy shoes. if ur extracting, have at least a 3-star extraction speed toon with at least 2 stars in speed and 3 in stamina - for grinding, try getting as high as you can! more machines = more ichor, and if you're feeling confident, try doing a run by yourself! (you can also... buy ichor... but i wouldn't do that if i were you. experience is also important!) ✿ good teams a good team should have around 2 distractors, (one for backup), no more than three supports, and the rest extractors. don't join runs with too many people as poppy/boxten/shrimpo/toodles. no offense to you/those players, but too many inexperienced players will make progress slow. make sure that the distractors know what they're doing, and avoid griefers (people who take twisteds and make others lose hearts on purpose) ✿ how 2 get to higher floors?? there isn't really a "key" to higher floors. instead, try finding a good run, have a toon you're comfortable with, and using good trinkets. make sure others have good toons as well, and no one will leave/die before floor 5. have good teamwork and don't join a run where no one else can communicate with you (roblox and its restrictions... sigh) well, i hope you enjoyed! sorry it's so long, i just wanted to share my knowledge in this amazing game! and if you've played it but didn't enjoy, that's fine! not everyone likes everything :) if you want to play with me, my username is @bluejay_unicorn14, display is currently pancakes i play on weekends, breaks, and i have a pst timezone (gmt -8) join me and type "quibble" in chat! that's my nickname after all ^^ oh! and make sure ur in 9-12 age range! cya!
