sorry I didn’t post while I was gone :v ANYWAY IM BACK NOW :D *throws low quality TN I made at midnight last night* I have a bit of news to share :3 I have become obsessed once again (this happens every time I stay at a hotel but this time is different okay >:0) with my old comic (that I’m still technically working on) Hotel havoc. During the trip I finally took the time to read some of my old storyboards and get past my writers block for one of the scenes in the chapters and I fell in love with it again remembering why I loved it in the first place. The humor in it hit different this time (the earlier chapters arent as funny but it gets better as it goes on) and I forgot how much I love these characters (SALT MY SON AAAHHH) If you’re unfamiliar with Hotel havoc (I’ll probably put out an everything you need to know about it soon) it’s a comic series that will consist of 20 chapters (and maybe a bonus one if it goes well) it’s about a bunch of inanimate objects running a hotel (I’ve never seen an object show so no I didn’t take any inspo from it- it actually came more from beauty and the beast lol) but the running gag of it is that no one knows how to do their job. (This was basically my first test run- at digital art (fart sfx to the first chapter) and storytelling. Didn’t and still haven’t done much research because what I’m really looking for in this is a laid back fun comic to see if I can get people attached to these characters and storyline and if it’s something I’m good at :D ) We follow Fork, Spoon, Salt, and Pepper during their summer working at this hotel. It’s a super fun chaotic story filled to the brim with mystery, annoying guests/customers, workplace rivalry, employee shenanigans, possibly several crimes?, and super fun characters and designs. Let me know if you guys are interested and I’ll do my best to answer any questions BUT chapter 2 is a long way away with over like 70+ panels and a lot of other things I’m working on alongside it. (Working on comic remix I REALLY WANNA GET THAT OVERWITH T-T)
Help the page crashed and I had to rewrite everything lol ALSO I was able to talk to some professional people who make comics for a living and they gave me some advice ^^ I was even able to show them my storyboard for the newest chapter <33
