READ FIRST જ⁀➴ Hey guys! I haven't done anything here in a while and decided I'd post something :) -This project is to give you some ideas on what you might have in a Bible study bag. It doesn't have to look good or have all of this (it took me a while to form mine lol) these are just some tips in case you are wanting to make one! ╔⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶✞⊷⊷⊷⊷⊷╗ Instructions: -Press the green flag -read the description before clicking to next image. Unfortunately the pink text that was literally perfect in some images was not readable anymore after I made it so I crashed out and gave up... just read the desc with the images lol, it will make your life easier -space/right arrow key/click screen to advance. Left arrow key to go back :) ╔⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶✞⊷⊷⊷⊷⊷╗ A note- rather than bringing this and a separate purse/bag, try to put the few other essentials you need in the Bible study bag when you take it. I bring my phone, cash/card, driver's license, and water with me everywhere so I just make it fit! Without further ado- the project :) ╔⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶✞⊷⊷⊷⊷⊷╗ ESSENTIALS 1- Obviously, the Bible! Whatever version you want (I use NIV). Bible tabs are a great help for finding specific books (link at the end of desc), I highly recommend. If you do Bible study outside (which is also fantastic, i suggest it), have something heavy as a paperweight in case of breeze! 2- Pencils and highlighters!! These are SUPER useful. Taking notes or highlighting when reading the Bible is important to help you learn and remember information while diving deep into it, rather than just reading it and walking away. I also suggest pens/sticky notes, but those are not necessary. (Even if you don’t have highlighters, underlining verses with a pencil will do!) 3- A notebook. You never know when you will want one, so pack it! I also suggest making a prayer journal. If you already have one, pack that as well :) NON ESSENTIALS -Books!! I have Luther's Catechism as I am Lutheran. It has a lot of explanations with biblical backing, so it's very useful. (The modern churches I’ve been to don’t actually use the bible to explain everything they do, so I use this a lot). The book "seeking A Gentle and Quiet Spirit" is for the girlies (I highly recommend it). And of course what would I do without the 1965 "Dating Tips for Christian Youth" :') (it's from my boyfriend- we've both read it and it actually has some really important stuff, not sure where you can find one tho lol but I 100% recommend if ur of dating age) Finally: -THE BAG!!! Don't ask me how I got the beautiful one and only trader Joe's tote cuz honestly idk T_T (my cousin "happened to have an extra") -Fitting everything you need varies from person to person, but remember, it doesn't have to be perfect! -Distractions: And of course, if you have pockets, put that stupid phone AWAY!! (That's my old phone case cuz my phone is taking the pic but you get the idea) phones are nothing but a distraction UNLESS you are using the Bible App/notes app/CLEAN music/etc. ╔⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶✞⊷⊷⊷⊷⊷╗ That's all! If you have questions please ask. Remember, it's not about how your bible study "looks"- it's about absorbing and studying God's word! personalization is fun, but it is NEVER necessary. ╔⊶⊶⊶⊶⊶✞⊷⊷⊷⊷⊷╗ Diversebee Bible tabs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FV8X83S6/ref=twister_B09PGF14FF?_encoding=UTF8 Diversebee highlighters https://www.amazon.com/DiverseBee-Highlighters-Assorted-Journaling-Accessories/dp/B09N7BX1LP/ref=sr_1_7?rdc=1&sr=8-7 Just starting your walk with Jesus?
