Self diagnosing isn't fully valid, go talk to a health professional if you think something is wrong. "But I don't have enough money!" BROTASTIC. You may NEVER get diagnosed, but you're going to have to understand that it's just life. Don't put yourself in a community you're not fully sure you're a part of. Like DUDE, I experience signs of OCD, and autism, such as getting up from my bed multiple times at night to see if I REALLY closed my door or not, checking my phone over and over again to see if I actually replied to that one text message I got, checking SCRATCH over and over again to see if I replied to all my messages, violent thoughts about hurting myself or others, standing on the balls of my feet while walking, and not being able to read the room well. Does that mean I suffer from OCD and autism? NO!! I got tested TWICE, and all I have is ADHD. Just because you're experiencing symptoms doesn't mean you have it. Stop trying to be "special" and put yourself into a group you're not fully sure you're in. Can you self-diagnose yourself anyways? Sure! Will we accept you for it? Absolutely not, get out! :D "But medical professionals-!!" NO THE HELL THEY DON'T. SHHHHSHSHSHSHSHHHHHH!! Give me a source that ACTUALLY says that and not some TikTok video. TikTok will NEVER be a source for me... And I don't care about how much "research" you did, GO TO A DOCTOR. THEY'VE GONE TO SCHOOL FOR SIX YEARS FOR A REASON. The only research I'll accept is if you look up different symptoms you're experiencing, look up different disorders that could be a reason as to why you're experiencing those symptoms, THEN go to a medical professional and TALK to them about your research. If you self diagnose yourself with autism, DON'T just fully jump into it and say "I have autism!!" Just say something like, "I THINK I may have autism..." That way, you're not putting yourself into a group you're not even fully sure you're in, you're just bringing awareness to the fact that you experience symptoms/signs of that disorder. And let me say this: Yeah, it can be helpful and it CAN give you some answers, but it's not a full, definite answer. Yeah, medical professionals DO say that it's OKAY to self-diagnose, but they STILL recommend going to a doctor anyways. Now, misdiagnosis IS possible. I mean... even I could be misdiagnosed!! In one portion of my test, they pulled out some cards, showed them to me, flipped them over, shuffled them, flipped them back over and asked me which cards I remembered. I said "I don't remember" for some of the cards, even though I DID, I just didn't give my brain enough time to process the cards I was looking at. . . So uh... yeah. They ran OTHER tests on me too, so the card thing wasn't like... the MAIN test they had for me to tell if I had ADHD, but still. There's a chance I could just... not have ADHD at all. Or I might have another disorder entirely! O.o (Yeah apparently that's possible...) BUT my point still stands that even if I don't have a disorder at ALL... I still won't accept self-diagnosed people until they actually get tested.
"Oh, oh, but that's an AI overview in the project, so you're automatically wrong!" Watch this video lil bro: https://youtu.be/hF5SrKQt0t4 (Scratch won't let me link a website)
