Hallo, I’ve haven’t been active for a long while, and I thought, to make up for it, why not share some of one of my fanfiction things I’ve been working on? SPARKS Arcee raised her blaster at Starscream, who she had pinned to the ground. “Finish me off! You won’t get a better chance to extinguish the Decepticon’s second-in-command.” Starscream pleaded in a fake manner. “Take me out of the misery and pian that Megatron has made me endure!” Arcee fumed, she had the extinguisher of Cliffjumper, the very bot that was number two on her list of people she should take revenge on. Cliffjumper! The very thought of his name made her even more mad at Starscream-no, enraged at Starscream. Pfft, I bet Starscream doesn’t even think I’d offline him, ha! For the sake of Cliffjumper, yes, Starscream, I will. Was it not fair if Starscream met the same fate as the bot he extinguished? She lit up her blaster at his neck, all her thoughts tied on revenge. Starscream’s optics widened as he looked at the blaster, then Arcee. “Wait! I didn’t actually mean- mercy!” But it was all to late, Energon started pooling around Arcee’s blaster-servo. “You deserve the fate that you gave my partner.” She seethed, stepping back. Little did she know, as she had extinguished Starscream, her best friend, a fellow Autobot, had been watching. Bumblebee. He looked terrified at her and Starscream, not knowing the reasons behind her actions. Arcee had thought the offline of the second-in-command of the Decepticons would make her feel better. But she was wrong, it didn’t. It gave her more feelings or guilt and hurt, holding the side where Starscream had embedded deep cuts, she thought: Would Cliffjumper had done the same as what I did? Just then, she heard a small beep from atop the hill she had tussled with Starscream. It was Bumblebee. She paused, her spark aching. Arcee knew it was him, and she prayed to Primus that he didn’t see what she had done. Not looking up at him, she heard Bumblebee slowly trudge down to where Starscream was, stopping a few feet away. Her spark dropped as she felt his optics searing through her soul as he asked, Why did you do this, Arcee? “I-I thought... I don’t know what I thought, maybe that vengeance would have made me feel better, for Cliffjumper...” Arcee felt the throbbing pain again in her side, asking herself why she did what she did. Did Starscream really need to meet the same fate that Cliffjumper encountered? Bumblebee beeped, questioning Arcee’s sudden action. I wish you hadn’t offlined him. He was bound and tied. Was it fair, Arcee? He took a step towards her, only to meet Arcee’s gaze as she looked up at him. “I’m sorry, Bee, I really am.” She whispered, her pain now masked by her shame and guilt.
Optimus rolled his left shoulder after Ratched reversed the Immobilizer’s effect of stasis. “It will take a while before all your plating will be mobile again.” Ratchet said, turning to put the Immobilizer away. Arcee sat a few feet away on a slab, her back turned from the Bulkhead, Optimus, and Ratchet. Beforehand, she had asked Bumblebee to keep Starscreams... offlining from the other Autobots. She didn’t want them to know, not yet. Bumblebee warned her that they would find out soon, either from accidental overtalk, or an encounter with his deceased body. Arcee couldn’t help though, extinguishing Starscream then and there just felt right for him for killing her former partner, Cliffjumper. She kept asking herself though, if Cliffjumper would have done the same if it was him in that scenario. Then, she heard Bumblebee come over to her, leaving just a few feet in between them on the slab. I get it, you regret your action. But what is done is done, we can’t change the past, we just move on and start a better future. He beeped, low enough that the other Autobots couldn’t hear. Bulkhead caught sight of the two, his optics narrowed a slight bit. “What’s on with those two?” he asked. Optimus and ratchet both turned to Bumblebee and Arcee as Arcee scooched ever so closer towards Bumblebee. “Is there something going on between-“ Bulkhead couldn’t finish his sentence before Ratchet elbowed him in the side. A clear sign that he should stop talking now. Sparkbeats passed before Arcee got up and turned to Bumblebee with a slight grin. Then she slowly turned her head towards the other three Autobots, a suspicious look on her faceplate. “And what are you three looking at?” “What? No, we weren’t looking at anybot, we were just, uh, helping Ratchet... observe the Immobilizer. Yeeees.” Bulkhead lied nonchalantly. Optimus looked surprised for a moment before catching what Bulkhead was trying to indicate. “Yes, because two servos are never enough, right?” Arcee narrowed her optics. What was their problem? She had all right to hang out with Bumblebee, he made her feel better, and that was good. She slowly turned and walked away, feeling a bit better. She felt as if Bumblebee wouldn’t be a critic or act negatively about what she said. Notes: There is still more where that came from…
