[NOTE: DELETE ALL INSTRUCTIONS ENCLOSED IN SQUARE BRACKETS BEFORE SHARING YOUR RESOLUTION! This is a template you can use to draft a resolution. This is an adaptation of standard resolutions you would see in formal legislative bodies, but I have adapted it for the Scratch platform. I've tried to make it straightforward to use this template. Simply replace the angle brackets with the appropriate information. Make sure to rename the project title to match the one written in the first slide (this excludes author and date). I've set the font to be serif. Should you wish to use a different font, use one that is professional-looking and legible. Make sure to center the text boxes after you have made edits, since they may go off-center in the process.] Press space to move to the next slide
[NOTE: DELETE ALL INSTRUCTIONS ENCLOSED IN SQUARE BRACKETS BEFORE SHARING YOUR RESOLUTION!] ===STATUS=== [This section should be updated as soon a possible to reflect the resolution's current progress in the resolution process. Here is a list off status markers, with their meanings: Pending - The resolution is currently in the discussion/debate phase. Pending vote - The resolution is currently within the voting phase. Passed unanimously - The resolution was passed with every voting member approving it Passed with noted opposition - The resolution was passed with some voting members against it Rejected - The resolution didn't get enough votes to be passed. ] ===RESOLUTION HISTORY=== [Typically, before voting, there is a period of time where the proposed resolution is debated upon. During this time period, people may propose amendments/adjustments to your original resolution. Such changes should be recorded here, with latest entries at the top. You should also record when it has reached phases, as written in the "STATUS" section. If the resolution has finished the voting phase, whether it was passed or rejected should be listed as the most latest entry. Make sure to include dates as well. Here's an example of an entry: " [May 15, 2007] - Minor grammatical errors have been resolved. - Whereas clause #6 was adjusted for clearer language. "] ===SOURCES=== [It is always a good idea to cite what sources, if any, you have used when drafting your resolution. You can give such due credit here.]
