Han POV:: Another week. Another life. I thought as I woke up into a new me. I would always be Han Jisung to my parents and the council, but I was given new names, interests, and family. Every single week. I wish I could live in one life. With one family. And one home. I hope that day will come. I found the information card sitting on the desk of my new room in my new house with my new family... It said... Name: Choi Seojun Age: 16 School: Merriblossom High Lifespan: One week (as usual) GREATTTTTTTTTT I thought... sitting up in my bed, hair like a bird's nest. Time for a new me. I wonder how I'm gonna d!3 THIS time... [Time Skip (location: merriblossom high) Monday] I found my schedule and my first class, science. Room 1003... I found the room, the door decorated with rainbow glitter and inspirational quotes such as "you can do hard things" and "love is love" and such. I entered to find name cards on each desk. Yay. Asigned seats. I found my name, Seojun. But someone was sitting in my seat, talking to another guy who's name card said... Christopher. However, "Christopher" was crossed out and replaced with the name "Chan". They kept talking, not noticing my existance. I had to sit down and I didn't want to get in trouble with the teacher, but if I asked for my seat, that might engage conversation, which we do not want because we cannot make friends with people if you are going to d!3 in 7 d- "Hey! New kid! Is this your seat?" The kid in my chair said. Great. Conversation with someone. yay... "uh... y-yeah" I said, stuttering What is wrong with me?! I thought, catching my self staring at the person's eyes... I couldn't stop looking at this guy..... I don't even know him. He continued, "Oh! I'm so sorry!" He said, standing up and bowing to me. I bowed back. "Oh, no! Y-you'r-re f-fine!" I said, stuttering again. "Are you okay? Your trembling." He said, a tone of worry in his voice. Why does this guy care about me? I didn't do anything for him. "No-y-yeah.... i-i'm fine...." I said, my voice almost at a whisper. I was getting light-headed and my legs were sore... I sat down in my se- I collapsed... into his arms. I screamed with excitement internally, but tried to warn myself that if I fall for him, I will never forgive myself.... what's his name.... I looked at his name card. Lee Know..... I like that name... I don't want to d!3... I want to stay with him..... I don't want to go back to the council.... I wanna stay... I wanna stay. I WANNA STAY! I thought. What I didn't realise was that I actually said it outloud. I gasped and clasped my mouth. I tried to act asleep so they wouldn't talk to me but i already blew it. "Hey.... um..... Seojun?" "yeah...." I responded, staring up at his big boba eyes. They sparkled. "Do you...... like me?" He asked, his face a bit flushed. OH NO! I thought. He found out I'm not actually Choi Seojun! He's gonna h8 me! He's gonna tell the council! He's gonna- wait what? Like him? I mean.... I kinda do...... Should I tell him? If I tell him, how do I know he likes me back? "Um.... yeah." I said, getting my cool back and sitting down in my own seat. "Uhhh..." Lee Know said, a bit quietly... "I like you..." My heart lept! I felt butterflies in my stomach. I hugged him even though I met him like, 3 minutes ago... Meanwhile "Chan" was just watching this crazy drama. He finally spoke. "So um..... Am I interrupting something?" He asked. "Uh-no-we were-no way-not at all-um-hehe" Lee Know and I said, flustered. We sat back in our seats. "Perfect. Time to start planning the wedding." He said, a mischevious grin on his face. "Oh Chan! STAWP!" Lee Know protested. [Time Skip (location: "seojun" 's house) Sunday] "So.... your NOT Choi Seojun?" Lee Know asked me. "yeah." I replied. I had told Lee Know everything about me and how I was actually Han Jisung, in a society of time and space where everyone assumes new identities every week, and where we all d!3 a week after we are "awakened". "Well, I don't care what name is what, and what is happening... I am going to stay with you..... Han." Lee Know said, reassuringly. "I know.... but I'm not gonna be here tomorrow." I told him, tears in my eyes. "And neither will I." Said Lee Know, abrubtly. "W-w-wh-wha-at??" I muttered, confused "Y-you c-can't." "Shhh." He said, covering my mouth. "I have a plan. Let me stay here tonight and I promise, we will stay together." "uh..... ok-kay..." I said. I grabbed the remote to the TV in my room and sat down on the bed. I motioned with my hand for Lee Know to sit next to me. He practically jumped onto the bed. He gave me a small hug then grabbed my hand. I put on Mulan and layed down on the bed next to Lee Know. We chatted and watched and laughed all the way until midnight, when I was supposed to "d!3" and respawn as a new person in a new world with new people... It lasted until the last chime of the grandfather clock. Then he pulled away... I stared at him in disbeleif as the world around me closed in... The same exact way as if I was d7!ng again... But this time..... Lee Know was coming with me. I could still feel his hand in mine and how he held on tighter as the winds and fabrics of time and space boiled and bubbled around us... I was expecting to wake up in a new life again, just... with Lee Know. But I woke up in the council HQ. And there was my mother, staring down at me and Lee Know. My h0rr!bl3, h0m0ph0b!c, @bb_s!v3, mother. The look on her face was of disgust, as I had brought an outsider into the world of time itself. She helped me up, but purposefully left Lee Know on the ground. I helped him up instead, even though the glare from my mother p!3rc3d through my s0ul. "H-hello.... m-mother." I mummbled "Salutations, Han Jisung. Who hath thou brought-eth to thine time world?" "Mother... this is.... L-lee Know.." "Thyself see-eth. Art thou.... attracted to thine Lee know?" "Aye, mother." I said, avoiding her gaze. Lee Know looked at me, scared at what my mother may do to me.... or him. I gave him a look reassurance. I knew how to deal with my mother. She spoke once more. "Jisung. Thou hath failed thyself once more. Thine cannot happen once more. Aye?" She said, glaring into my s0ul. "No, mother. Thyself refuse-eth to follow thou's rules. Thyself would like-eth to be free." "No? Thine est not an exceptable answer, Jisung. Thou must change-eth thou's mind about him. Thyself will not tolerate this nonsense." "Mother. Thyself will tell-eth thou once more." I said, praying that this would work. "No." "Fine-eth. Go-eth forth from thine world of time where not a s0ul can d!3. L!v3-eth in f3@r of d3@th once more. If thou leave-eth, thou shalt not return." "Aye. Thyself understand-eth thine rules. Thyself would rather d!3 than leave Lee Know." Then I grasped his hand hard and we teleported back to science class. Room 1003... As if we were late to class. We walked throught he door together and sat down next to Chan. We explained everything. And now... [Time Skip (location: han and lee know's house)] "Jagiya~ Yijoo and Yichang are fighting again! Help!" I exclaimed, calling out for my hu$b@nd, Lee Know. "Jisung-ah! I'm dealing with Yigyeo right now!" He yelled back. A lot has changed since I left my mother and the time world, but it's all for the better. Lee Know and I got married and adopted 3 kids. It's been a lot of hard work. Lee Know's been trying to find a job and I've been trying to figure out how to parent three toddlers. But overall... It's been amazing.
