This is my submission for the hollow knight OC contest :] Story: The Void wielder was one of the vessels deemed impure enough by the pale king. But instead of accepting that their doomed to the Abyss like the rest of the vessels, they tried to fill themselves with as much void as possible by jumping into the pool of void near the lighthouse in the Abyss to be completely hollow and be chosen and accepted by the pale king. But no matter what they tried, they couldn't turn themselves completely hollow. At most they broke half of their mask from how much void was being filled in them and infecting their duel-nail with void. After realizing that their is truly no way they can become hollow without the pale king, they eventually did the only thing they can do; crawl out of the Abyss and explore Hallownest. But then while they were trying to use their nail to grapple on platforms, they accidentally shot out an onslaught of void out of their nail. They then realised that from how much they filled them with void, they can completely control void to their will. So using that void, they shot themselves out of the Abbys using the void like a cannon. Now, they wander Hallownest with no real intentions or goals. They also at one point traveled with Quirrel while he was still alive since they both liked to travel around Hallownest.
