SeasonClan. A clan of the light. From the original RP call/welcome project: "A friendly clan that says hello to all, but don't give their charity for free. They live in the rolling hills of a forest that changes it's seasons so vibrantly. Their connection with StarClan is very strong, thinking them as their gods, naming the new-borns after things that come/happen in the season that they are born." [[ table of contents ]] - Clan History - Clan Territory - Clan Builds - Clan Beliefs - Clan Behaviors - Special Rules - SeasonClan Under Leader of Sparrow ` Clan History ` This Clan formed out of revealtion, as puppets. StarClan holds OasisClan and RainClan so high, and yet SeasonClan loves them the most. They use these cats as messangers, and there have been whispered legends of StarClan cats stealing the bodies of willing SeasonClan cats. But those are just legends, right? So then why is Leader of Sparrow so strange? ` Clan Territory ` What can best be described as an enchanted forest, the oak and pine forest is always stunning. It changes with the emotions of the leader of the forest. They say that they are connected to the foret and the rot more than the stars, being used and used k-lls them slowly, and so often the sickly-sweet forest, beautiful to the outside, reveals itself and its dy-ng nature to those who have lived there long enough. (this is oorp knowledge to cats other than SeasonClan cats, who are taught to love the forest.) ` Clan Builds ` Slim or chunky cats with often bright pelts and eyes, mostly being orange tabbies and ticked brown tabbies. Their fur is medium to short, and older cats sport longer fur. Sometimes a few cats wander around with pure black or white fur. Eye colors range, but often stay a yellow or amber, and/or a blue. ` Clan Beliefs ` They are said-- they do not confirm or deny the claim-- to give their lives and *bodies* to the stars, and will often find de-d bees, foxes, prey, maggots writhing in their bellies. They find this beautiful. They have enough fresh prey to survive, but stay often a bit skinnier. They have a set prey order; kits w/ pp, kits w/o pp, medics, deputies, leaders, warriors w/ exp, apps w/ exp, warriors w/o exp, apprentices w/o exp. ` Clan Behaviors ` Very open and sickly-sweet, but your devotion comes at a cost. You must give your soul to the stars in a hidden ritual. It's forgotten by those that go through it somehow. You'll have to experience it to see. (cats will always forget the ritual unless given permission to remember it). They always name their kits after the happenings of the season they are born in. For example, past deputy, Goosesummer, was born in autumn, when the goose that populate the forest leave. Then the suffix of a cat is during the season they are appointed. So, Goosesummer was made a warrior in greenleaf. Yes, you can have the suffix winter, fall, autumn, spring, summer. But it cannot be you prefix :D (unless you joined and it already was). Leader's names change to fit the season, so are refered to outside of that as Leader of ___ (whatever their prefix is). ` Special Rules ` Ranks: There are two other ranks in this clan. Before warriorhood, for two weeks (four irp moons) your SeasonClan cat will be a Cat of the Rot. No other clan knows about this role, and therefore not much is known by the pther clans besides rumors. They are given the temp. suffix 'mold, and are cats that wander and are NOT allowed in camp. It is meant to teach those cats about the true forest they live in. (irp, this is around the time they start noticing the de-th and stuff). The other role is a Speaker. Pretty much a full puppet, and is known by the clans to have given themselves to the extent of their bodies to the stars. Yep. Joining: Pretty easy besides the ritual. Used to be a sacrifice, but that's been ban, so you're alright. (irp been ban by a leader of starclan) Special Skill: Immunity. Means you have a higher chance of not getting sick (many illnesses lurk in SeasonClan) and a higher chance of recovery if you do in fact get sick. You do this by hunting by the border, eating prey with maggots (maybe you should get some skill points before doing this lol), eating/being given herbs without needing them, talk to a Cat of the Rot on a patrol. ` SeasonClan under Leader of Sparrow ` Leader of Sparrow is... an interesting cat. Always muttering, eyes glowing faintly in the dark, body going lifeless in the night. He's a quiet cat, and rarely speaks, but when they do, they have a mighty and powerful voice. But some claim to have seen mold and rot under his fur. Leader of Sparrow hides themself often, and it's hard to get a glimse of him unless he wants you to.
