The Enid Tornado was one of the strongest tornadoes of the 2020's, happening during the Tornado Outbreak of April 23, 2026. The tornado touched down at 8:11 pm and stayed on the ground for 37 long minutes before lifting near the Enid Regional Airport at 8:48 pm. Luckily, there were no fatalities; however, there were 10 injuries, and the tornado destroyed many well-built homes, including 6 in the neighbourhood of Greyridge alone.
