Well, um... the vessels aren't human (not yet), they're recreations of humans based on the data obtained. Also, "costume" tortures the vessels because it "believes" it's the right thing to do. I don't want to delve too deeply into it, but it's not evil, not really, not super evil, but it's not like, "oh, the victim," either. It's an AI that was trained to do that. Also, the Scratch Team/Foundation didn't immediately abandon Costume; they tried to edit it but quickly changed their minds. One last piece of information: "costume666.sprite3" is the sprite that the AI sprite2better uses to represent and manifest itself in general. It's not incorrect to call it costume666, but it's also not correct to call it sprite2better. Am I making myself clear, or was I just too confusing? xd
