So, because I want to add shaders and voice chat and all those life-upgrading features, yall need to install those things aswell. Thankfully, since I am using modrinth, it will be super easy! Modrinth is totally free app and it doesnt even take a lot of space, the app itself takes only like a minute to install and after that you can install mods unlimitedly with no storage eating, without having to keep an eye on any files, nothing! So, first step: Install Modrinth. Go to https://modrinth.com/app and there click on Download Modrinth App. After its installed, open the app and sign-in with your Microsoft email. It should automatically then appear as signed in with your Minecraft account on the right with your current skin's face. On the left you can see icons, we will be mainly using the second from top. When you hover over it, it will say Discover content. Click on it, and then go to Mods. From there, you will install the mods. (If you will be installing shaders, its in Shaders instead.) The installing is super easy. You find the mod you want, click on Add to instance and then a) if you dont have any instance yet, create instance. Thats a modpack thingie that keeps the mods together in one world. You name your new instance, make sure the loader is Fabric and make sure the version is 26.1.2. and click on create instance on the bottom. Then, b) when you have created instance, you will keep adding new mods by finding the instance in the list and clicking on the Install button next to it. Really easy and quick! You have to install the mods in the exact way I am, as that ensures 100% that you get the exact same things as I do. The list of mods: - Iris Shaders (automatically adds Sodium after installment) - Fabric API - 3D Skin Layers - Smart Tree Feller Enhanced - Particle Rain - Mouse Tweaks - Better Advancements - Continuity - Cave Dust - Map Distance Fix - New Glowing Ores (Resource pack!) - Horseman - Simple Voice Chat Shaders: - Photon Shaders - Solas Shader - Bliss Shaders - BSL Shaders ... you can add more shaders or none at all, as that is just for your visuals! Thats all the mods! I know it may look like a lot, but it truly takes absolutely no space at all other than the app itself + it makes the gameplay so much better! (Fun thing: while making this I nearly forgot about the voice chat which is literally the main reason I added the mods lmao) If you are not sure about something or dont understand my step by step explanation, please tell me and I will try my best to re-word it for you! <3
To play on the server, you have to go to your instance and then to Worlds section. There you add server, name your server, put in IP Address and click on add server. Once its booted up, you can press play. Also I will do like a basic tutorial on how to use some stuff so you wouldnt be confused, as I know it may be confusing to some <3 Also the IP adress issssss....
