prob gonna get a lot of views from christians... prove me wrong if you want lol. Personally, my problem with Christianity is the problem of divine hiddenness and the problem of damnation. If you don't know, the problem of divine hiddenness is that God isn't obvious to everyone. Many people are "non-resistant non-believers"—meaning they are open to God and aren't "hating" on Him, but they still don't see enough evidence to believe. This is me. Because these people exist and God hasn't shown Himself to them, a perfectly loving God must not exist. Imagine a father who says he loves his kids more than anything, but he hides in the attic for their whole lives and never says a word to them. Would you believe he’s actually there and loves them? If God is hidden from people who are honestly trying to find Him, then the lack of evidence is a choice God made, which doesn't make sense for a God who wants to save everyone. I have heard things about free will (edit: you guys obviously didnt hear this part so let me say it again, ahem FREE WILL ISNT IN THIS ARGUEMENT IF YOU SAY ANYTHING AB OUT IT YOU MUST BE DESPERATE!!) and how we can't understand it, but those don't make sense, so feel free to chat with me, but please do not offend me or harass me because I'm a human too. Also, Infinite Punishment for Finite Crimes: Humans live for maybe 80–100 years. The argument asks: Is it "just" for a God to give someone infinite suffering for mistakes they made during a very short, confused human life? If God stays hidden and then punishes people for not believing in Him, He is essentially punishing people for a "mistake" that He could have easily prevented by just showing up. Usually, we punish people to help them learn or to protect others. But if Hell is eternal and there's no way out, it isn't "rehabilitation"—it's just pure suffering, which doesn't seem like something a loving "Father" would create. I also kinda have a problem with how god made us just to love him and praise him.
