After procrastinating it, I finally bathed him. He didn’t really smell good from the last house he was in especially because it was a random stranger off of eBay. But that’s OK. I’ve always wanted to try bathing one of them. I’m too attached to do it with River I don’t want to accidentally hurt her. It was a long process it took about an hour or a bit sore after. The paint did come off of his nose easily. I can’t decide if I should redo it or not. I’m like literally out of brown paint. He all smells much better now and it was a good experience again. Maybe I’ll try it with River when she needs it now that I know how. I’m mostly followed akmoss’ tutorial other than the dish soap. I used my body wash because it smells better. It worked just fine. Overall, I’m pretty very glad with how it turned out. Trust me when I say this USE SPIN AND DRAIN!!! They’re pretty much a dry after. I’m about to go blow dry under his ears because they’re pinned down, but otherwise he is almost completely dry. After only a few hours sitting out he feels a little damp around some sea, but that’s OK. It’s to be expected. I’ve washed plushy’s different ways before, but I’d say this one definitely works the best for the fur.
