As promised in my campaign(and as so, so many people have requested) I am about to overhaul the managers. This includes roles, ranking, standards, and heavier organization and centralization. There will also be curator rankings and roles as well. (Literally just giving ppl jobs lol. Honestly, I should get someone whose job is to give ppl jobs after all this) A lot of it is still in the works. But manager ranks may include: >Marshals - The High ranking managers who vote on the council, and serve as 2nd hands to the emperor. Help drafting rules/changes, host election votes, bans, and command a Corps/department in the administration. >Representatives for member rp universes, which may make up a sort of Senate that consents to changes that affect all member RP universes. Which often may be the hosts of said universes, and leading their own sub-managment. >Aids and lieutenants. Helpful hands, that help the higher ranking moderators.... Well.... Moderate. Serving as messengers, responding to reports and sending them up the line, checking for potential powerplay or rule abuse. To check the books and crannies the higher ranks cannot. Now, this is a bit vague. mostly because it's still being planned, and in practice, it'll be much more complex. For example, each member universe might have its own set of mini managers, some may be of a different rank within the Imperial administration. Each marshal would also have a corps, containing a slice of the manager cake working under them, and a few curator roles as well depending on the needs. Or it might be a simple department, that requires only one or two mods. Adaptation is needed, and exceptions when required. Like an instrument, the Imperial administration needs to be finely tuned. I'm also sure some will voice concern on limiting the council members, but I have had several people come up to me and complain about seemingly less competent managers just opening their own council meetings and slowing things down. Some mods are only in their positions because of their influence and requests rather than merit. The council, is a sluggish disorganized mess. And it has gotten so bad, I've gotten ppl on the blue app effectively asking me to become a dictator. Thus I shall try to establish a more organized, centralized, and efficient administration. Which is why I shared this project. I want to know your merit, your passion, what job suits you best. So I guess this is a sort of survey, and to see how the general public views this concept. And I expect you'll share potential improvements or additions to this planned organization. I seek to gather information to work with from this afterall, and as I say "A friend group of only yesmen and people who always agree with your ideals inevitably leads to toxicity" But I must note, I am not asking what role you want. I'm asking where your merits lay, to conclude what role may fit you best.
