“Ready to go?” Heron asked. “Still a bit hungry. You can wait outside the entrance for me,” I suggested. “Sure,” Heron replied. I ate for a few minutes and jogged over to the scavenger area. I saw Silas already waiting for me. I gently lowered my claws into the box. Silas ran and scrambled into my palm. “One moment. I am going to give you a temporary understanding of the dragon language,” I said. “You can do that?!” Silas exclaimed. “You would be surprised,” I commented, casting an invisibility and language spell on Silas. “There you go,” I said. I thought about where to put him. I settled with putting him in a groove in my horn-rings. “Stay quiet. You are also invisible now,” I whispered in Dragon. Silas nodded, eyes widened with shock. I walked over to Heron and said, “I am ready to go now. Is Herbs and Healing the next class?” “It is,” Heron responded. “Let’s go then,” I said. We entered the Herbs and Healing Cave side by side. I sat down in the back row. I blinked at the teacher. Clay, former Dragonet of Destiny. I spoke through my mind to Silas, “Don’t panic, I am speaking through your mind. Are you doing okay up there?” “It feels weird to understand Dragon, but it is pretty interesting,” Silas responded. “Do you know the metal song, Bleed?” I asked. “The one by Meshuggah?” Silas questioned. “That’s the one. I was playing it on the drums earlier,” I said enthusiastically. What?! How?! It is a hard song to do on the drums,” Silas practically shouted. “Do you want me to take you the next time I play the drums?” I said, ignoring his questions. “Absolutely! I wanna see this,” Silas responded.
