VOLUME WARNING IN PROJECT! 5 whole hours after the emergence. The monster trudged along the ground, dragging its weight and shaking the earth beneath it. Each sluggish stride enveloped all in its wake in a tomb of frost and snow. It was making the whole world around it just as slow and still. Those who weren't frozen burst into panic, and the military fired off everything they had. It was all to no avail. The beast, quickly named "Barugon", shook off every bullet and explosion without any reaction. And still, it remained reluctant to truly strike. Every building wasn't crushed or thrown around instantly- they were slowly tipped over. Barugon was taking its time. And the laziness didn't end there. It extended its tongue, and shot another spray of frigid fog. All in a wide radius of 100 meters was coated with ice. They continued to push through the barrage, having barely a care. Its tongue was the only thing that dared to be agile in the plight, whipping around in the air uncontrollably, lashing all in its path. The screams of his victims were silenced as the slothful monster crushed and froze them. And all even the strongest vehicles could do was make the monster grunt. It seemed as though Barugon was going to succeed in his attack... But then a divine fireball blew the monster back.
