With the moon close enough towards earth, The Intermarium shall initiate Project Propulsion. This consists on fuel-packed probes that will land in the asteroid, dig-in to secure itself, plant detonation devices (nuclear) and use rocket engines and other types of propulsion methods to push the asteroid away to either miss the earth, orbit the earth, or make it burn it the earth’s atmosphere. Once it is a safe distance away or if it is still somewhat heading towards the earth, the detonation device will be triggered hopefully breaking the asteroid apart into smaller pieces that will burn up in the atmosphere or deflect it off course. Out last resort is missile launches when closer to earth and in range. All civilians and officials that we can trust and will be useful are evacuated into the Vaults.
