So that was an episode. If you are here, that better mean you watched it. So, my thoughts about the episode. It was very… thrilling I guess. I mean there were some goofy parts (thanks tile), and some very, very lore heavy parts (thanks mars). Dude, this episode was worse than TPOT 20, I have /way/ too many questions. Anyways on to the episode: The beginning sequence was cool, we got to hear Lucas and Mars for the first time, and it revealed a ton of information, like how CH 547 is associated with 57, and how there are a lot of other ITFT Channels, but kinda… left me with more questions. Evidently the Polka Dot void has nothing to do with FloNOW or something ??? Also, I guess each “clock” breaks down after 12 hours, so we may be losing our poor Clock. Anyways the elimination wasn’t very good, but that’s understandable, as the rest of the episode was a bit more important. I’m glad TI30 got out, as he wasn’t contributing as much to the show anymore, unless you ask No Way. The Break Interval had some more lore, like the Polka Dot scene or something, but that was kinda short anyway. Also poor clock, evidently this whole show is happening on his birthday, and he somehow forgot about it ToT Anyways the challenge was to get him a gift. Let’s start with Tile and No Way’s journey. They went to go see the eliminated contestants, and I guess vase’s remains can grow flowers or something now??? Anyways, they grow a flower, and it somehow reaches the CH 57 platform-light thingy, and find the birthday card from episode 1 there. They decide to give that to Clock, but the platform breaks, and they fall to the earth. On the way, No Way gets a pen and writes stuff in the card, like replacing “Lucas” with “clock” and writing something, thanking him for the time. Anyways, on to Polka Dot and Wheel. After Polka Dot gets switched with a more cheerful version of her, they decide to find Polka Dot’s Ride About You, a portable amusement park ride, where Mars Rover talks about you over the intercom, complete with a light show. The seat is sold separately however, and they go on a journey to find it. After a lot of bonding time, (enough to make them shippable) they find HOUSE FROM ORBIT??? who has the seat, also known as the “doom buggy”. They manage to arrive just in time, and show Clock their ride. When Mars talks about his life, he says after flunking out of high school and getting rejected from his dream college, Clock had started working a mundane job until it was shut down, and started living on his minimal savings. Then it is revealed that Clock is in fact Lucas, proving a major theory. Mars then talks about a reset, which seems to mean Clock is going to be replaced by another Lucas from a different dimension. Anyways, Clock hates the ride, obviously, and it seems Polka Dot and Wheel are doomed. No Way falls from the sky in front of Clock, and hands him the modified birthday card. However, Mars whited it out, and wrote “two hours left” on it, evidently warning clock of the oncoming reset, or maybe just psychologically tormenting him even further. Anyways, Clock burns the card, and puts No Way and Tile Up for elimination. Then we get to see TI30 again, in his home Channel of 58, as well as the song which inspired the title. Finally, we see Lucas again, drifting in the Polka Dot void. He tries swimming to a portal, but he sucked away, and after being flown around, we see CH 57 again. However, it’s the previous day, and we see Clock bidding the finalists of a different season??? farewell as they step through a portal. Then, the spire from “it always flies” appears, and shoots Clock?, who then falls to the ground, and loses his color. He tries crawling away, but gets sucked towards the polka dot portal. Then we see Lucas again, as he is sucked into a portal by Mars Rover, and exits again through a different one, nearby the CH 57 portal. The greyed Clock and Lucas are sucked into the CH 57 portal, and combine, and the credits roll. Wow, that was a lot. 10 out of 10, would watch again. I did.
