Amber's POV: (Inkling with blue hoodie): I trudged into my homeroom Monday morning with a huge frown. It was easy to hide the fact that I was lonely, but everyone could tell I was sad. Some people smiled, and I gave them small smiles, but nothing huge. Suddenly, one of the popular kids, Athena, came up to me, and blocked my path. "Hello there Amber, welcome back to school! How was your summer? I hear you visited the Order verse!" I stared at her. The class, minus those still talking in pairs, was staring at me, and I felt my face turn as red as a tomato. "Yes..." I muttered, trying to go around her. How did she know so much about me? She let me pass, but stuck close to my side. "How was it though? Would you recommend it to me?" "Ummm....sure." Athena looked back at her group of friends, the more popular inklings, and smiled. Whatever they told her to do, she was doing it well. Quite well. Athena's POV: I glanced back at my friends, and they all laughed. They had told me that I should interview the shyest girl in middle school for our newspaper, but all she said was the bare minimum. "So Amber...." I began, following her to her seat. "I was wondering, what was the order verse like?" "White and Gray. Very empty. Why?" "Oh, no reason in particular! Want to hang out after lunch?" She stared at me for a moment, I figured she was confused why was suddenly so interestead in her. "Just....to talk!" She blinked and finally smiled a little. "I guess."
