OH MY GOD DESIGNING HER TOOK FOREVER. Anyway some lore drop, she's Pansystorm's sister although they were both taken into Shadeclan as kits. Eclipsekit's name was changed to Halfkit but she thought this name was discriminating towards herself so during her warrior ceremony she renamed herself to Half-Eclipse (majorly in spite towards Roachstar) and left the clan to become a loner/kittypet. I haven't figured out which one she became but i'm leaning towards a kittypet ngl XD.
