DBD 1 Year Anniversary Scrapbook ★ ──────────────────────── [✦] DBD scrapbook 2025 to 2026 • Happy 1 year anniversary to DBD! ──────────────────────── [✦] May 15th, 2025 • Creation of the studio (by @Hannissa) • The original thumbnail had the names of the original managers. (So like Hannissa told me that’s not actually the original thumbnail, but let’s just pretend ✌️) • The original managers were @maybe_ren, @SailorHamster, @pocoyovsmario, @WayWorseWayBetter, @CraftyCat527, @Mapleshade1111, @tristan_o_1234, @Fluffypuppycafe, @Hollyinbasment, @Yeety-chan, @AngelEclipse__, and @thecar--BENTLEY (going by their accounts at the time. Some people have moved accounts since then. Let me know if I missed any. @lonelydancer was an original manager, too, but I believe she was promoted a bit later than the others.) ──────────────────────── [✦] Around August 2025 • The studio started becoming active • The official DBD thumbnail was decided • The first manager applications opened • @Hannissa hosted a thumbnail contest to decide on the thumbnail for DBD, and @kirayumiki won the contest! You can see the winning entry in the project. • The 2025 manager applications were postponed for a few months after opening, thus the new manager being promoted in January. ──────────────────────── [✦] Around September 2025 • The glass battles happened • Not many screenshots from this could be found, but this is an iconic DBD joke that started from the concept of ‘flavoured glass.’ ──────────────────────── [✦] October–November 2025 • seemingly left Scratch suddenly • The hiatus was about 4-5 months long. (EDIT: not really sure why I added this to the scrapbook, but yeah) ──────────────────────── [✦] November–December 2025 • Nick Wilde by Design happened • Around November or December of 2025, the theme of the studio was made ‘Nick Wilde by Design’ by the host, . However, the host got permanently banned while hosting, so the studio was stuck as ‘Nick Wild by Design.’ A backup studio was used in the meantime, and the main studio was stuck as ‘Nick Wilde by Design’ for weeks. ──────────────────────── [✦] Around December 2025 • The ‘cooking by the book’ joke was made • This joke started when the song ‘Cooking by the Book’ by LazyTown got noticed for being oddly catchy, and some users started continuously quoting it on DBD. Other users got curious and listened to it, and eventually many users were familiar with it and kept quoting its lyrics. Eventually, a ‘Cooking by the Book’ fandom was jokingly made due to so many people liking the song. ──────────────────────── [✦] Early January 2026 • was promoted to manager • After a few months of promotions being postponed, it was decided that would be promoted. Surprisingly, no other managers were promoted for the 2025 manager promotions. ──────────────────────── Even though I stopped editing the actual project, I’m planning on continuing it in the description!
