in the December 31, 1999 people were watching the computer time, but not in the way people celebrate, they were scared, because 2000 was gonna be the future, now a past. It all begins when in the year 1997 a website was made and it made a theory, that in the year 2000 computers were gonna crash, because of a bug. in the 1990s computer used a different time like 31/12/99, and the problem is the computer in the year 2000 will make the number 99 to 00 which bank account were gonna become negative, bombs were gonna launch and planes and airports were gonna be broken. just because a computer bug, they were actually needed to be set as 1999 to 2000 but duo to computer limits back in the time, they will shown as 99 to 00 which computer thought like 1999 to 1900. people in 1957 knew about this but they had a lot of time left so they did not worried, while people in 1999 were ready to survive the chaos and when 2000 struck, the world went silent and then it went back to normal, because it never happened. so the year 1999 was know for its Y2K bug.
