"A cover which is definitely not related to the events of two Tuesdays past." Say Goodbye - Lodoni NOTES: This took a month to make. I’ve really been utilizing my newfound free-time. I think by far this was my best cover yet! ... ... ... But I still have comments: I don't have real drums at the moment. I used to have an e-kit with some pretty believable sounds, but the cables for it broke… actually a few months ago… so I used the General Midi 2 (GM2) "Room" drum preset for the second section. To make the cymbals sound more natural, I separated the highs and put them through a phaser. idk, I thought it was pretty clever of me. Amma pat my own back on that one. That pad at the end, that's not a pad! that's my tenor recorder! Also no one talks about how good bass is as a solo instrument. Get on that if you can. While singing I had to sacrifice some note accuracy for like 2 seconds, I cannot hit that. I'll get there someday, but with this voice?, plus mysterious allergen in the air?, no way José. Speaking of vocals, the lead melody wasn't really in my best range, and I didn’t feel like yelling, so the result was a somewhat nasally sound, more nasally than I would like, but at least it wasn't bad enough for it to suck the fun out of this on my end. Other than that I am really proud of this. --like REALLY, REALLY proud. More to come, more to come. Oh, and there may or may not be a link to the Soundation project inside. I mean, who knows? Me? I’m just a text box.
