[11/2413] Filler on the Northern Annexations (I know Mused already updated it, but I wanna have a bit of lore behind the annexations) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - With the Salvation States Victory of Texas and the Emu's, the Phoenix Council officially announced its annexation of the Texan Arctic lands it was "safe guarding" In defiance of Caribbean threats. The territories are now heavily fortified after the past year of occupation. New Modernized Star-Ports are constructed, allowing greater flow of supplies from Kosan to the High nurse's continental army, which continues on the offensive against the Hand in California. While old infrastructure is restored and updated to fit the newest standards and versions. P.S: I agreed to give @Cratey-DW some Arctic territory, and originally was going to give him a few islands I took in the first part in the occupation. But then the war kicked off, and the unexpected 2nd occupation of the other half of Texan holdings took place. Instead of giving him historic Dominion territory, I'll give him parts of the raw former Aurorian territory Texas took if that's alright(see map inside) Resurgence - - - - - - - - - - For nearly 3 centuries, the Dominlings inflicted countless atrocities on mankind in their conquests, which seemed unstoppable. But after WW7 and the treaty of Nest, the Dominion was decisively defeated and contained..... But history is full of defeated powers coming back even stronger than before. To the dismay of human supremacists everywhere and powers such as the Caribbean. Not only has it expanded its borders to territory gained during WW7(Alaska) But now a full-blown revolution is overthrowing the seemingly pro solar-league government, who's power over the Dominion is falling everywhere. And being replaced with a more antagonistic and spiteful government born in the flames of the 2nd Galactic War. Thus, to add to the dismay, as the Phoenix Council seized the Capital and forced the Hand into retreat, the High Nurse would officially cancel all WW7 material reparations to the Caribbean(along with the other nations in the treaty who demanded reparations) on the basis that the resources would be better spent in the war effort, and since the Dominion had been acting as a buffer between the invaders for over a decade going through unimaginable suffering to repel them. And that these resources will be spent building new hospital complexes in the newly gained territories for the wounded crisis. Some radical Dominlings would go as far as to publicly say that humanity owes the Dominion for the immense suffering for over a decade of acting as a buffer against the "nemesis" ______________
