Hi here's some art and updates ^^ Pls enjoy the very few pieces of art I have made in the last month or two (descriptions for each in credits). I'm so sorry I've been so inactive, there's a couple reasons and I'ma yap about them <33 1. Busy schedule Yeah I've been fairly busy with school and life ykyk. Although my schedule has cleared up the last few weeks and it's not that much of an excuse anymore. The last few months I was in a musical (*yay) and I was super busy with rehearsals, tech week and other theater kid stuff lol. (we did Addams Family in case you were wondering :P) But low-key the show ended about 3-ish weeks ago and now I have some more free time. So why have I basically not been posting... 2. Art Block Ahh yes the beloved art block. I had such a hard time just committing to drawing something. During the last few weeks when I actually had time to draw I would sit down, start a sketch and feel stuck. I must have made like 5 sketches before quitting. Most of this art dump is stuff from before my major art block which started about when I posted my last project. It makes me feel bad and unfortunately while I have forced myself to draw stuff just for the sake of it, I still have trouble drawing stuff ToT. 3. I found yet another thing to hyper-fixate on My ADHD has cursed me yet again. I recently rediscovered a TV show I gave up on years ago and now it is taking up all of my two brain cells. (RIP my life). Because of my art block I've been finding it much easier to just spend my little amount of free time binge watching this show or wasting hours watching random analysis videos about it because why not... my priorities right?! 4. My general disconnection from Scratch I've been on Scratch for almost 2 years now. (I joined in February 2024 but became more active that Summer). And although I am grateful for the awesome community and how it started my art journey, sometimes I feel a lack of motivation to post here. Then again I have very fluctuating motivation because of good 'ol ADHD. I'm not leaving, I don't think I'm ready for that, but sometimes I just feel more stress thinking about when I need to post on a site I don't even have that many friends or followers on. Obviously art isn't about those things and that's why I've been drawing a lot more for myself. Looking back at my activity 6 months ago and further, I realized the only art I drew for a year and a half was only for this site. I started up a DA account about a year ago and up until recently the only art I posted there was trades, adopts, payments, etc. for all of the people here. I didn't have many OCs, I didn't draw about the things I actually cared about. I mostly drew the things that I could post. I sucked all of the fun out of what being in an art community and art in general is all about. So I've been filling my IPads' storage and my sketchbook with things I wanted to draw not having to share with anybody. And I mean yes, I posted it on DA because there you can just share art without a purpose behind it. Just art. But I've piled into a Scratch project that ruins the quality of my art because Scratch does give my some fulfillment and purpose. And because I feel a little guilty. Ik I don't have a fan base to read all of this I'm just a random ahh kid trauma dumping at 11:00 pm. Enjoy the art guys ^^
The art (mwahaha): 1. *Hint hint guess what my latest fandom obsession is?? Anyways spent like multiple days on this and am fairly proud of it! Look at those majestic clouds in the background I think those are the best part of the entire piece lol. 2. (from top left to right): Athena because I love Epic (the musical) and Greek mythology ^^, Hermes lolz, PJO oc I recently created! I'm still deciding on a name. 3. I've been redesigning my old comic which was basically a WoF fanfic AU. I don't like the fact that it took place in the Wings of Fire world and I have been coming up with a new world for it and cool dragon-human hybrid species thing to keep some of the old designs and things I liked about it. Here's a sample Aqua ref <3 4. Grrr this is so old!! I made this one in December and just forgot to add it to one of my art dumps. It's Harry Potter. (Note. I do not support the author because she is Transphobic! I do still like the book series tho and I got all of the books as hand-me-downs :D) 5. Ahsoka from Star Wars! My family really loves Star Wars and Ahsoka's my favorite character. I made this one day because why not :PP 6. CHARLIE!!! Charlie's one of my favorite OCs who I haven't really drawn yet but I love him >:DD. I'm in the brainstorm phase of a possible web-comic and I've drawn some art of these characters but it's still in development. He's such a cutie (*mama's so proud). 7. Solangelo! best ever, change my mind. I think the drawing pretty much sums it up lol. 8. Aquamarina my babyyy. I've been neglecting her so I drew her with some extra sparkles. 9. Ugly WIP ahh. This was a draft for a poster that I gave up on but uhh reveal ^^. The name is a work in progress and as you can see it's just a sketch. From left to right; dude that my placeholder name is Evan but might change, Aster, Cressida.
