After helping Abby out with her horse I decided I needed to tackle one of my own project horses, Archaic. He is VERY spicy and I'm not entirely sure why but I have a sneaking suspicion that he feels unnoticed. I tacked him up and had him head to the roundpen to just go back to basics and OH MY is he energetic. I didn't bring the whip in as it seemed to be too much pressure and he's already very forward lol. I basically just let him run it out until he got his head back on his shoulders. Archaic came to me eventually and after I stopped recording he was still very receptive to cuddles. I'm very hopeful that he and I will start working together better soon and hit the XC course and showring together!
