Spilpe Mc' Dilpe, the face of @SpilpeProductions. A frequently changing face to be specific! Lemme give you a brief timeline of Spilpe's appearance throughout the years that I've made! (Click or space to change to the next image) 2021: This short, stubby design is a depiction of Spilpe's very first design, as seen in Meet the Spilpe, their height was inconsistent through the following projects (whoops). This depiction heavily exaggerates the eyes and mouth, and even has a singular floating eyebrow! Quick fact, initially they had a more blueish hue, but Scratch's brush tool always defaulted to that purple colour. So I decided to make Spilpe purple from that point on! 2024: After my brief return to Scratch in 2023, the release of The Fear of Loud Noises and Here, One Euro solicited a new drawing of Spilpe using their design from those projects. Significantly taller, and now adopts a more teardrop-shaped body! Spilpe's eyes are now misaligned, and has rounded teeth! Without a doubt, this pivotal design built upon what was present before, obviously because I improved in drawing. What I personally don't enjoy about this specific image is that there's just TOO MUCH COLOURS being used, and if I were to animate all that, it would suck. 2025: This year was when Spilpe received significant changes compared to last year, heavily reflecting how I drew Spilpe on paper. They got slightly taller, and the excess colours got limited and the remaining colours were less saturated, which resulted in something calmer to look at! Their eyes are now outlined, as I personally think that it brings out the soul in their eyes much more than two thin strokes. Overall, a pleasant refresh of a design for Spilpe! This was also the beginning of when I decided to have a design philosophy for the World of Spilpe. 2026: With the new drawing pad I got for my birthday, I can now draw Spilpe like I would with paper! The design is heavily influenced by a tablet pen now, and it is quite obvious. All of Spilpe’s facial features are now on their face, no more floaty features. And their bottom is more apparent, whilst still keeping the teardrop shape. The hands are also very thorough in detail now! No new colours though, I reused the palette from the previous year. The best design in my opinion! Well, that’s the evolution of Spilpe! Thanks for reading!
