Dandy had been sitting in a puddle of ichor, sobbing. He had been whispering quietly to himself. But I couldn't make out what he was saying. “Dandy?” I said, but he had no reaction too caught up in his own thoughts to hear me. It was completely silent, except for dandy’s faint whispering, which I managed to make out. “I can fix them.” He said, “I can’t lose them.” Without even realizing, I had put all four of my arms on dandy, and we had drifted off to sleep. When I woke up, Dandy had still been asleep on the floor. I picked him up and set him on his bed, where he would continue sleeping. I set off to grab my blanket from the hallway, before anyone could notice. I grabbed my blanket and rushed back to where dandy had been sleeping and i heard him mumbling “mph” “I love you astro” I blushed. Had he really felt this way? “i love you too dandy” i whispered. I had never told him this before. I thought he wanted to just be friends. I hadn't told him that i had felt this way because i thought he would reject me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ By the time dandy had woken up, Tisha had come and cleaned up all the ichor on the ground, and I tried [and failed] to forget about what dandy had said in his sleep. “Good morning dandy” I said, “too earlyyyyyy” he groaned. I made the decision not to tell dandy that he had accidentally confessed to me during his sleep. I didn't want him to worry. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Later the same day, I asked dandy what had happened last night when I saw boxten come out of his room. “I was worried.” he blushed “about what?” I said. “I didn't want to lose you guys. I'm not supposed to tell you this... but they're planning to end the show because people are losing interest in our show.” I could see his eyes start to water “but dandy, what about boxten? Why did he come out of your room last night? Is he okay?” dandy sighed, “Delilah makes toons with her own hands, I watch her. I thought maybe if I could make all the toons better, people would like the show more, and people would stay watching... I wouldn't have to lose you guys.”
