note: DO NOT LEAK THIS OFF SCRATCH PLEASE thank you wow, the 2026 marching season is upon us already! and since my band’s show last year got a good amount of hype (which was so so awesome to see btw) when i posted recordings on scratch i thought id do that again. and yall are getting a very extra special sneak peak recording this time… this is our DAY ONE run through of our 2026 show! and, yes, theres quite a few issues…but it sounds pretty good for our first time playing the show as a full band, right? about the show, the title this year is “les liaisons” and it’s based on french cubism artwork and also about like connection or something. and uh the visuals are gonna be real cool but we arent gonna add those till summer band camp. i’ll add more info later but thats the important stuff lol also wow that snare 3 player sure is good (lies) i wonder who she is……… some quick additional notes: — the soloists this year are a clarinet, flute, and mellophone…though they (and front ensemble) aren’t actually mic’d yet so they’re pretty hard to hear in some spots, lol. you’ll hear them eventually though. — the first and second movement are at full tempo, though we were playing 3 a bit under here…it will eventually be at 172. — this is not the full show yet, this is 3 of about 5 or 6 movements. the end thing is supposed to transition into the ballad. and as always, thank you SO MUCH for checking out this recording!!! it means so so much to me you don’t even know.
