Glow knew it, why would anyone want to be real friends with her, he was too much, or too little? Curling her paws in the sand to ground himself he let out a sob. Everything is too real and not real at all and SHE COULDN'T TELL THE DIFFERENCE? What was wrong with him what was wrong with him whatwaswrongwithhim?! Another cry escaped her throat and she clapped her paws over her mouth. No sense in bothering anyone else, she isn't real anyways, and if she is, he's not important enough to be anything more than an annoyance. All this work, and at the end of the day she was still a useless kit, who isn't even able to help the clan. No wonder his parents left, one in the sky and one somewhere? She didn't even know who his other parent was. How pathetic is that, crying over two people you never even knew? Or maybe they never existed at all and this is one big hallucination, you never know right? If it is, he could pretend that she never disappointed people at all, that her parents bothered to stick around, that his siblings so much as glanced at him. The world around him began to look less and less like Urchinclan, and more like a forest? With a strange stump in front of her with a starburst shaped hole in the centere. He slowly spun around, assessing her new surroundings when 4 cats came into the corner of her vision. Squeaking, and trying to escape, he found herself rooted to the spot. One of them stepped forward, this one mostly reddish in color with braids framing their face. "Don't be afraid, we realize that this might seem scary for you, but we don't want to hurt you, we just want to protect you. You were getting awfully panicky back there, so we figured we'd bring you somewhere a bit calmer…but I'm getting ahead of myself! Long story short, we are you, we're pieces of your personality projected into physical form, sort of. We aren't real, and this is all in your head, but we're here for you, you can talk to us about whatever, because we are you!" the strange cat paused, catching their breath before continuing. "Let us introduce ourselves, I'm Red, He/She and I represent your emotions, especially your optimism, compassion and childlike wonder." the blueish grey cat stepped forward. "The names Blue, She/Her, and I represent your passion, hot hotheadedness and protective nature." the greenish tinged cat stepped forward next. "I'm Green, He/They and I represent your loyalty, leadership skills and rashness." Lastly, the purplish grey cat stepped forward. "My name is Violet, but you can call me Vio, They/Them. I represent your intelligence, curiosity and-" "Our stubbornness, inability to compromise, superiority complex?" Blue interjected. "Yes, I suppose stubbornness works fine." Vio huffed, turning their nose up. Red giggled. "So, thoughts? Questions?" Green asked. Glow felt like she could move again, relaxing a bit, "Honestly, this is all a shock to me. Are you sure you aren't real? You all seem pretty real, and so does this place." Glow replied, head reeling with the sheer enormity of what was just told to him. Strangely though, she instinctively felt that she could trust them, her colors. "Quite sure. Red thought it was best to make sure that you knew from the start, especially considering what your earlier freak out was about." Vio replied. "This has been quite enlightening, I'm sure, but look at you, you can barely keep your eyes open. You need to wake up and go to sleep for real." they continued. "How?" Glow asked, looking at Vio or Red, since they seemed to be the most knowledgeable. "Beats me," Blue answered, "It's your body, and your daydream, try pinching yourself or something?" Glow obediently tugged on his earring, the pull on her fur making the daydream cloudy. "Remember, we're here for you!" Red shouted, as the last of that sun dappled forest faded, leaving only the sandy dunes of camp in its wake…
I hope I did the colors' dynamic justice, I had a lot of fun writing their dialogues, especially that Blue and Vio section
