When you think of a love story, what do you think of? I know what a lot of people that I know right now would say if I asked them this. "Oh, well I imagine a girl/boy main character with a PeRfEcT social life that falls in love with a cute girl/boy!" Well, that's not the case for us. We aren't girls or boys. We don't have perfect social lives. It's a bit of weird love. Chapter 2: I finally get to school. It is absolutely hellish. 8th graders are so chaotic. The boys are those stereotypical loud, annoying guys who slack off at school; and the girls just slap some pink on themselves and call it 'preppy.' There are also those NPCs that pretty much nobody knows. I mean, not EVERYBODY is like this. I don't really know or are friends with the people who aren't, but they're normal at least. I walk into homeroom, and take a seat in the back. The teacher, Mrs. Miller, was new. She had just started a few days ago. She started to call out our names. It was all going smoothly until she got to me. "Elizabeth Watson?" I cringe at the sound of my deadname. I know I always look like a weirdo when I correct teachers on my name, but I do it anyway. "Here.. By the way, my name is really Blu Watson. Elizabeth is my deadname…" I hear a chorus of snickers in the front 2 rows. "Oh, sorry, I'm still getting used to the name-change thing. I'll change it!" I smile slightly at the fact that she cares. "Okay. Thanks.." Just as I start to think the day wouldn't be that hellish after all, a kid in the front shouts out, "Hey, Blu-lizabeth! Why don't you run to your mommy and tell her to change the attendance!!" I sigh, knowing my mom would refuse as laughs fill the classroom.
