With the impact now done with, we shall begin sending out teams of soldiers and scientists to scout the area, make sure that we are safe, make sure that the air is clear, and reconnect with any possible satellites that we still have up in space. This will help us better understand the situations we have to deal with to get our nations back on track. Ice is found all along the coast and soldiers are sent out to see if they cover the entire sea. Military bunkers are opened and the government gives the all clear for citizens to come out. Gas masks are given out just in case. The remaining ships that we have are tasked to begin the breaking of the ice to see how far down it goes. Drones and any satellite data is used to locate airports and other places with vehicles and supplies that could still be used. Some soldiers will be sent to neighboring countries to check their conditions and make sure they are fine. We quickly realize that we pretty much have the upper hand with us storing food, fresh water, energy and vehicles. We do not pay any attention to this as we will focus completely on restoring where we once were. Communications with our colonies will begin and orders will be sent to begin scavenging for any materials and other vehicles. We just hope that there won’t be any revolts. With us having a colony so close to the crater, we shall begin sending small expeditions there with a load of supplies to see if there are any valuable resources that the asteroid made.
