Pls do not reject this idea as it really is a strategic choice and as you said you wanted the iec to be more strategic not luck based so encourage innovation
JUSTIFYING THE 2-3 SECOND GAIN: Lemans is bassically a drag race with turns its like 70% straght with high speed turns mostly by shortening the cars most air resisting areas such as the rear wing we can acheive a much higher top speed at the cost of some downforce which is not needed that much at a circuit like lemans
