Looking back at November 2022—which was almost 4 years ago now—my intentions were never to cause drama or make you uncomfortable. I simply admired your art so much; his color pattern, his shape, and the details on him completely impressed me. In fact, your design is the only reason I started liking Digimon. Even though I used to despise the franchise and saw it as just a copy of Pokémon, your character was so amazing it made me forget all about that. I wanted to share what was happening on my side back then, not as an excuse, but just to be completely transparent: The Permission Confusion: When I first found Nixonel on an old project page, it simply stated that I had to give credit. Because that information was outdated, I didn't know at the time that I actually needed to ask you for explicit permission first. Understanding Your Boundary: When I finally did ask for permission and you told me to stop because I was treating him as my own OC, I didn't fully understand it yet. I was only 11 years old and you were 16 (now we are 15 and 20). Looking back now that I am older, I fully understand why you set that boundary after my actions, and I completely respect why you did it to protect your character. This new version is a complete overhaul built from scratch on a R6 bipedal framework made by @jljah2 as a tribute to the design that inspired me so much as a pre-teen, as he now has a vest that covers his entire torso and part of his limbs instead of a scarf. However, I completely understand if the past situation makes you uncomfortable, and you have every right to refuse the use of this version. If you want me to take it down, just let me know. Thank you for creating such an impactful design, and I am truly sorry for how things were handled in the past.
