Press spaceeeeee - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I got to the stables a bit later than usual and after I'd done my daily routine of chores and such it was late in the afternoon. The weather was nice so I took Fal out for a trail ride. I used a bareback pad and his halter since I still haven't gotten him any decent tack yet. I haven't worked with him much yet since a lot has been going on with finishing up the renavations along with Fern breaking her canon bone, and a lot of my horses also need training. So it was nice to have a quiet trail ride to take my mind off of things for a bit. Fal did really well not acting up to much, I kept him at a nice quick walk but didn't let him trot. After that, I took Ivy out of her round pasture to practice some leading with her. I walked her along the trails for a little bit with Indy before heading back up towards the pastures. I brought Ivy into Moon and Time's pasture to play with Time for a bit. Ivy was a bit nervous at first but soon the two started playing together. After I put Ivy back and fed Indy her dinner, I took Lily out for a tackless ride along the shore. The sunset was beautiful and it reflected in the lake's water. I forgot to move one of the XC jumps out of the way but Lily barely glanced at it before hoping over. She's a really well behaved mare, which I have to credit her previous owners who showed her as a foal and yearling. So she got really desensitized after awhile. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
