◼ ◼ ◼ Notes ◼ ◼ ◼ The year and platform written under each title in the project, is the platform this specific sprite is from (the platform I played the game on), and the year the game was released on that platform. It is not necessarily the earliest version of the game. After making Going Under, in which the main sprite is 4 pixels tall, I started wondering what other games have tiny sprites. I was only interested in person-like sprites though - no space ships or such. Finding tiny sprites turned out to be much trickier than I thought. For instance, the very earliest games had surprisingly large sprites. The smallest sprite I could find was from the PICO-8 version of Celeste. PICO-8 is a virtual gaming console with intentionally low resolution, so there are many games with minimalist pixel graphics there. But I was really more interested in classic games, so I only included Celeste. If you know of any other really small sprites, let me know in the comments. If you do, state the height in pixels please. ◼ ◼ ◼ Credits ◼ ◼ ◼ Thanks to @colinmacc, @RokCoder, @kriblo and @owaiso for suggesting some great additional sprites. https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/25643089/comments/#comments-323898611 The music is "If Only". I made it in BeepBox as usual. The instruments are square wave and sawtooth wave with note filter effects.
