mostly just me putting my thoughts down. OKAY. the main reason I wanted to talk about this was neopronouns and xenopronouns and all at' jazz. we all know its a controversial topic but if you dont, xenopronouns and xenogender is going by xey/xem/xer (I don't know the particular pronouns but the baseline is that they are a gender identity other than the current ones that have been identified.) neopronouns are basically going by certain name(s) as opposed to pronouns. baseline is that its about going by something and identifying as something that isnt categorized by recognized genders. xenogender is an umbrella term from what I understand, for people who don't identify with male, female, masculine, feminine, etc. here's why it's controversial: a lot of people inside of the pride and furthermore trans community find it to be "embarrassing" or "not real". gender is a societal construct, so yes, they are right, in part, that you cannot create an entire gender for yourself. sex is biological and something you cannot change without very expensive surgeries. it only becomes double standardy when you realize that non binary (they/them) falls under than xenogender umbrella. because how can you say that they/them is more valid than say xey/xem. on one hand, they/them is a recognized common pronoun for numerous people, people who you don't know the gender of, or people who you want to keep anonymous. it is a common neutral term. so why is it so bad when it becomes not neutral? when they start trying to put an actual name or example of how they feel about themselves into words? my logic is who am I, a cis girl, to dictate what they can and cant go by? but then again, I've heard people who dont support say its self centered or attention seeking. and its true that a lot of the people who identify with these labels are young. but who's to say if that's immature naivety or just people gaining more ways to describe their orientation? there just isn't enough evidence to make a real choice. there is no way to check just the capacity of the amount of distress dysphoria may cause somebody, and just how far we should go to help them personally, I'm neutral. I dont know if this is just a fad that'll disappear or if this is a real phenomenon. I'll do my best to refer to you as you ask, however I cant say I'll take your side in a debate. well ok I will because hate is just so dumb you're allowed to have different political opinions but that doesn't give you the right to crap on the other side. I also want to talk abt democrats. my dad, over the weekend, was reading this article about how Democrats fight for public schools but they send their kids to private schools and on one hand. yes. that's hypocritical. on the other. you cant always rely on somebody to completely follow up on what they say all of the time. now, to be quite frank, my dad had to dumb it down for me to understand. the issue is probably far more complex (I also wasnt listening). and also this would be all that I've heard of this development. idk. I don't want to make decisions on limited information though
argh. why cant we all get along and be friends even if we're different like we learned this in kindergarten guys
