Use it like a real lift. Warning loud sounds and flashing lights.

Ultra rare 1974 DEVES (mod) hydraulic lift... Brand: DEVES. Year: 1974. Modernized by Otis in 2008. Type: Single ram holeless telescopic hydraulic with the motor room at floor 0. Capacity: 800 kg or 10 persons. Speed: 1 m/s. Logic: DEVES relay-logic without memory (Retrofitted with a Siemens PLC with full memory in 2008). Voice: Stentorgate (None originally) + Daniel UK TTS with goofy announcement since May 2026. Fixtures: Round 1970s DEVES buttons and indicator lights (Now Dewhurst buttons and dot-matrix display). Doors: Schindler QKS (Now Fermator). Motor: DEVES dry-powered pump unit with the motor above the oil tank. Starter type: Direct on line. Serial numbers: KEG-10693 (Old) and OTISLMOD - 11572684 (New). Location: Undisclosed block of flats, El Garcia, ST. Maintenance company: Bimo-Colitas-Sulfur Electronics Lifts Ltd. This is the lift at a random undisclosed block of flats in EG. This block of flats is a fairly normal building which opened in Nov. 1974 and features an epic tall hydraulic DEVES lift with Schindler QKS doors. This lift has an absolutely epic sounding hydraulic motor and runs very efficiently. But then, the building evolved because in 1998 the old Standard Electric fire alarm system has been replaced with a Simplex 4100+ with 4903 speaker strobes and remote strobes as well as 4903 outdoor mechanical horns set to Code 3 tone. Then in 2006-2008, the building got heavily renovated, including a full asbestos removal, new HVAC system, new windows, new interior and new insulation cladding with wooden exterior panels and glass wool. This is when the lift got modernized by Otis to look like a standard, modern-day generic but they wired a new Siemens PLC into the existing relay logic to enable full memory and to keep the old hydraulic system original. They also replaced the positioning system to make the lift more efficient at levelling in the downwards direction and added slight pre-doors. But then, in late April 2026, the maintenance contract went from Otis to Bimo-Colitas-Sulfur Electronics Lifts Ltd because the owner doesn't know much about lifts. However, that goofy generic company decided to just "customize" the lift instead of modernizing it, probably because it's got Dewhurst buttons and a Siemens PLC logic and that's good enough for them! So, what did they do to the lift? Well, they just slapped in the Colitas chime which plays everytime the doors opens, a random goofy song player and some goofy pictures on the lift doors. Also, a lift enthusiast (Likely Beno) went into the motor room and added the Mario fart song to the random music player! But hey! At least it still has an awesome motor but the songs prevents you from listening to it properly (You can disable them by clicking "see inside" and finding the good sprite), the lift is efficient and still has a lot of character! So, to be fair, I'd say that this modernized DEVES lift is ultra epique, however Bimo-Colitas-Sulfur Electronics Lifts Ltd added some awful ultra yuck stuff to it!
