(Progress was slow because of school :/) They began to walk together into the woodlands. "I didn't think anyone would find me," Mango admitted, looking up at the Morpho. "I thought nobody lived in this area of the woodlands. Or well... at least that's what I was told!" "Actually, they're correct!" Morpho said, xir tail swishing against the wet grass. "I don't live here. You were just lucky I found you while flying by!" "Oh, interesting!" Mango said. "What were you doing over there anyways?" Morpho asked, xir turns toward Mango. "I was busy finding fruit in the trees!" Mango said, a small smile returning to his face. "I eventually found some, too. I couldn't help myself, it was so good! X3" He paused for a moment, his smile fading as he looked at his wing. "But then a storm came, and I slipped on the bridge..." "So I guess that explains it," Morpho said, tilting xir head. "How's your wing?" Mango mumbled, gently touching the injured membrane. "Well, you should be fine," Morpho reassured him. As they walked together, a sudden breeze blew past them. Mango started to smell something. He smelled something rather unpleasant in the air. It seemed to be coming right off the dragon. "Hey, uhm..." Mango began, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "I'm not trying to be rude or anything, buuuut... you don't smell very good..." Morpho stopped in xir tracks, looking down at him with an offended glare. Mango suddenly realized how horrible that came out. His head turned away with embarrassment. "I mean... it's not the WORST thing I have ever smelled!" He stammered, waving his hands. "Alright, I'm just gonna shut up. You helped me and I'm already treating you like crap." Morpho sighed. "It's fine, I guess." They continued walking through the trees of the woodland forest, the air is cold. They finally something in a distance. It's a dark mouth of a cave appeared in the cliffside ahead. "This cave looks safe," Mango said, looking inside. "Can we stay here?" "Yeah, looks safe to me," Morpho said, stepping into the cave. They walked in, It was very dark inside. Mango took a couple steps before his foot tripped on something. catching himself hurting his wing again in the process. It was a skeleton, its white bones half buried in the dirt. "Oh, uhm... sorry sir, or... ma'am," Mango squeaked, backing up a few steps away from the skeleton. Morpho giggles. "Pfft, are you talking to a dead person?" Mango stared at the dragon, unsure of how to respond to that reaction. He looked away, trying to shake off the embarrassment. "Anyways, goodnight!"
