When you think of a love story, what do you think of? I know what a lot of people that I know right now would say if I asked them this. "Oh, well I imagine a girl/boy main character with a PeRfEcT social life that falls in love with a cute girl/boy!" Well, that's not the case for us. We aren't girls or boys. We don't have perfect social lives. It's a bit of weird love. Chapter 3: It's finally lunch. Lunch is the one time of the day where the snickers and misgendering stop slightly. I get a water, not being hungry for anything else. As I walk to a small, round table in the back, this kid stops in front of me. "Hey, Blu-lizabeth," they tease. Great. The nickname has spread… "I think it's time you really were blue!" I'm confused. "What do you mean by-" just as I was about to finish my sentence, he poured cold water with blue food dye in it. " Wow," I say, unamused. "How original…" I walk to the bathroom, not showing any emotion. I remember there are only gendered bathrooms because this school doesn't care about gender neutral kids, I guess. I walk into the boys' bathroom, knowing it's the closest gendered bathroom to my gender. I look at my hair in the bathroom. The worst part about having light hair is any food dyes in water stain my hair. And this blue (honestly it looks more of a muddy green) did not want to come out. "God, why won't you leave my hair!" I look at my short, now messy hair and sigh. "But the T is working at least…? God, my mom's gonna kill me if she finds it.." I messed with my hair a bit. "Honestly, that looks kinda good.. Muddy green looks cool. My mom's gonna kill me if she sees this as well, but honestly, screw her." Another kid walks into the boys' bathroom.
