LAST CHAPTER OF SHADOWS GUYS WOOO -Glitch Ch. 27 "What? I'm not having therapy with you," Glitch said from her spot on the ground, somehow still having Solar's wings. "Yes, you are." Luna said. "I'm not giving you a choice." Glitch growled and stood up, but didn't protest further. If Luna had her mind set on something, there was no point in trying to change it. "I know about Willow." Glitch stiffened. She was expecting something like, 'I understand what you're feeling.' Not this. "What do you know about her?" Glitch asked bitterly. Luna's eyes softened. "I know how she d!ed." Glitch completely froze, her breath hitching. "I know the anger you're feeling. I lost someone I loved as well." She looked at Lloyd with murd3r in her eyes, and Luna stepped between them. "Nope, not doing that. You are going to listen to me." "What do you want?" Glitch growled. "I want to stop the storm." Glitch stared at her. 'Stop the storm? She can't. I need it. I-" She came to a quick realization. 'I can come up with a new plan.' She sighed. "Fine," she said in a flat voice. "Stop the storm." Luna looked surprised. She probably didn't expect Glitch to give up that easily. "Really? You're letting me stop it?" Glitch just looked away and nodded. Luna took the cores from Lloyd, and stacked them on the ground. She stood there for a moment with her eyes closed, before they snapped open, glowing a (very) vibrant purple. The cores rose to about Luna's head level, before a blast of power shot out from them, calming the storm. The wind stopped, the MergeQuakes disappeared, and the sky returned to normal. Glitch spotted the two writers sitting atop a building, just watching. She bared her fangs at the two, still angry at Solar. Luna's eyes returned to normal, and the cores returned to the ground. She picked up the cores and handed them to Lloyd, who took them carefully. Glitch stood up, Solar's wings rustling with the movement. A few days had passed since Glitch had caused Merge 2.0. Luna and the Ninja had taken Glitch back to the Monastery, where Glitch has been mostly staying in her room. The Ninja were smart and barricaded her room from the outside, as they were weary of her. It was useless though, as she could turn into energy, and easily slip under the door. It made them feel safer though. She didn't just sit and wallow in self pity however. That would have been a waste of time. She learned how to hide and summon Solar's wings. She had also been playing around with the energy spikes she could now summon. She figured out how to make them different sizes. Not as large as when she had full control over the Cores power, but they were still useful 2 days ago, Luna had come into Glitch's room to talk. She remembered the conversation clearly. They discussed going to Luna's universe to lay low for a while. Glitch had asked how, and Luna said she had a theory. Because it was Glitch who brought Luna here when her powers became extremely amplified, she could use the Cores power that hadn't left her. Glitch didn't understand Luna's logic at the time, but the more she thought about it, the more she realized Luna had a point. The Cores power were sort of an amplifier to her Elemental power. She didn't know what Dr. LawRow had done that day. but she was sure she could figure it out. She heard the barricade outside her door move, and she snapped out of her thoughts. The door creaked open, and Luna stepped inside. "It's time." She said. Glitch stood up and walked to the door. Before she exited, she grabbed a dark purple wrap from a shelf, and quickly wrapped it around her leg. She walked slightly behind Luna as they moved quietly through the Monastery, the friendship they had now cracked. It was around midnight. The cold air hit Glitch's face as the two girls stepped outside into the training area. The dragon statue glimmered in the moonlight. Luna pointed to it. "Focus right there. You need to have a fixed spot you want to open the portal." Glitch stepped forward and focused on the ground in front of the statue. After a moment, a golden rimmed portal started to open. It got bigger until it was big enough for the girls to walk through. The portal was bright. Too bright. Glitch's head felt like it was swimming, and all noise dimmed. The last thing she remembered was Luna saying something she couldn't hear, a look of concern on her face, before everything went black. Luna caught Glitch before she could hit the ground. The portal flickered as Glitch feel unconscious, no longer having her concentration keeping it open. The Ninja rushed out of the Monastery just in time to see Luna hoist Glitch up, and walk through the portal without a second glance back. Lloyd rushed to the portal, but wasn't able to reach it in time before it rapidly closed. Nya put a hand on his shoulder, and said something that was supposed to be comforting, but Lloyd just shook his head, and walked back inside, followed by the rest of the Ninja. (cont)
(*wHeEzE*) From the void, the two Writers watched through a gateway. Solar had her pen, twirling it around in her hand. "Do you think they can fix what is broken?" She asked. Lunar sighed. "That's up for the Originals to decide. We represent them here. We are here to help guide Luna and Glitch. The girl's fate, along with the others, is in their hands." Solar turned back to the gateway. "Lloyd unknowingly broke the 4th wall. What are we supposed to do about that?" Lunar shrugged. "We've also broken it. The 4th wall is a very fragile thing." Solar chuckled, and opened up another gateway. "Don't I know it." This gateway showed someone similar to Glitch. However, this version looked much different. Her horns were more jagged and more broken. She had extremely long hair with, one side braided against her head. Both of her hands were claws, the same purple and green. The purple side had spread up to her face, while the green one was halfway through her forearm. Solar sighed and closed the gateway, turning back to continue watching. After a few moments of nothing happening, Solar stood up and stretched her wings. "You wanna go get Dairy Queen?" Lunar stood up. "Imma get some Starbucks instead. I need a coffee." Lunar's face turned serious then. "We need to be more careful in the future." she said. Solar nodded. "I agree. We have too." She turned back to the open gateway before closing it with a snap of her fingers. "Otherwise, this whole reality may become cracked." || End of chapter 27 || ================== Next: End of Shadows Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1313307759/ ================== Characters in order of appearance: Glitch Luna Lloyd Solar Lunar Ze Ninja Nya ?????? ================== Chapter 27 written by @DarkMoon326 Chapter 27 cover drawn by @DarkMoon326 ================== Hmm.
