Using Jellacut's attack on Oolga as militarily and political distraction, Imperium Francium has decided to besiege the city of Overdale. _____ The High Command has decided to infiltrate the strategic position of Overdale, because of several reasons. Empyrean is seperated into two mainlands, and the Field Marshals has been hoping to cut supplies lines off as quickly as possible, spreading physiological fear among the enemy ranks. It has also been mobilizing as many vehicles and troops as possible. Frigates and Man-of-Wars was launched days before the assault to weaken defense lines and to make the landing easier. Artillery was deployed to destroy key factories and buildings to stop the war effort. it has been gathering a few corps that's in a division system, hoping to gain fast agility and mobilization to transport troops faster. The main fleet will sail under Admiral François-Paul Brueys d'Aigalliers, through the Estrait, fearing that they would be detected by coastal forts. It will consist of many Man-of-wars, 3 deck ships, supply and transport boats, as well as a reserve flotilla. Its plan was to quickly land, and fastly march toward the capital and seize it to force compromise from the nation, avoiding heavy casualties and many forts. There, sappers would build fortifications fastly against enemy reinforcements, distracting them from the main invasion force. Skirmishers and Rifles would be in the front sniping, while the Elite Grenadiers, Old Guard and the standard infantry divisions will march in double columns. Seperate Marshals have key points and objective to attend to, so they will create a diversionary force against the Empyrea Army. Each Marshal/Corp will have its own detachments of Cavalry, Grenadier, Infantrymen, Artillery and a brigade of support regiments, such as sappers to build platoon bridges/fortifications and a medic regiment.
