I hold very strong opinions on this since it hits close to home, i will never even consider being friends with someone who likes the confederacy, the confederacy was a stain on the face of the planet earth itself, they broke my southern brethren, gave it so many issues, robbed it blind and then people allow it to act as if it were a saint, and i find it incredibly offensive to even be compared to such disgusting filth, so what if i feel pride and patriotism for missouri, my beautiful state, with metropolitan areas from st louis to kansas city, with rich french and german heritage, with its beautiful landscapes from the ozarks to the plains, from the humid to the dry, from the cold to the hot, i would rather die then live anywhere else, and so what if i feel nationalism the second i see our beautiful state mentioned, the confederacy was a stain on even missouri, igniting a mini-civil war in my beautiful state over its mere existence, that does not make me a slaver.
i apologize if this is a large rant this is just an emotional topic for me. okay maybe i love missouri to an almost nationalistic extent. (forgot to add this but click or press space for next slide)
