Mango was panicking. Hours had past into the night, and Morpho still hadn't come back with a plan. Veneen was going to arrive first thing tomorrow morning, demanding answers. Mango desperately needed someone to help him, but with Morpho gone, Mango was entirely on his own at the moment. Far away, Morpho was still lying on the cold mountain ledge, trying to gather xir strength. As xey finally stood up to leave, xey looked back into the distance. There, standing on the edge where Morpho just was, stood Rasa. Rasa waved a slow goodbye before she gradually faded into the misty air, disappearing. Mango couldn't sit still any longer. He scrambled off his pile of cushions, wanting to find a way out. He began to attempt to flee his room. But suddenly, a big wind went through the room. Morpho flew straight through the large open window, Morpho's massive wings folding as xey touched the floor. Mango stopped. Looking closer, he immediately noticed that Morpho had been crying. "Morpho... what's wrong?" Mango asked worried. "I've never seen you like this..." Morpho wiped the tears from xir snout, trying to look strong. "Mango, don't worry about me. What matters most right now is saving you and your colony, okay?" "But I want to know why you are upset," Mango insisted, stepping closer to Morpho. "Are you in trouble?" "No," Morpho sighed. "At least, not for now..." Morpho paused, thinking for a second. Xey leaned down, xir expression turning serious. "I have a plan, but you are gonna need to listen to me carefully. Alright?" Mango nodded with agreement. (Change of perspective) Tulun and Jelu were walking together down in the center of the palace. They wandered into the quiet garden, surrounded by bright flowers, talking to each other about their families. "Your parents sound great, Tulun..." Jelu said, looking down at her front legs. Tulun smiled warmly. "Aww, thanks Jelu! They really are the best! I'm sure yours are too. Why don't you tell me about them?" Jelu froze. "I don't know..." she muttered. "I just... I don't want you to feel uncomfortable around me or anything. O-o-or judge me for who I identify myself as..." Jelu's emotions got the best of her. sadness, and she began to sob. "Jelu..." Tulun said softly, filling with deep concern. She stepped closer, not hesitating for a single second. "I would never judge you. You are my best friend, and I will always be comfortable with who you are. Just tell me!" Tulun wrapped her wings and arms around Jelu, pulling her into a tight, warm hug to calm her down. Jelu eventually calmed down, her breathing slowing as Tulun gently let her go. "I, uhm... thanks," Jelu mumbled, wiping a tear from her face. "I guess I can tell you..." Tulun gave her a smile and sat down on the grass to listen. "Well... I feel like a disappointment to my aunt and uncle," Jelu confessed. "They want me to love a strong, fearful male dragon who will protect me... But... I don't have those feelings for..." Jelu paused as she looked away. "Males?" Tulun finished for her. "Yes..." Jelu sighed. "I know that if I came out to them, they would be so disappointed in me." "Even if they are, it's completely wrong for them to act that way," Tulun said with loyalty. "You deserve a family who will love you exactly for who you are. Say... wanna come over to my part of the village? My parents won't mind at all!" A smile finally came across her face. "I'd love that! Give me a time and I will be there!" >:D Collab with <- If you don't follow them i will steal your electrons!!! >:)
