I'm on summer break now! This project has some random images of behind the scenes stuff + a list of the books I read this school year! simon-music.bandcamp.com to listen to my music :) song by rrthiel
yapping about TIME tracks! Back At It: I wanted to try to make some jazz Midnight: This was my second song in Waveform Free. I wanted to make some lofi, so I downloaded the Cymatics Origin plugin, some pianos on Spice Instrument (the free spitfire ones) and the cymatics lofi toolkit for drums. Turned out pretty good. gotosleep: I think I started this one with the drums and then quickly made the chords and began experimenting with samples. I had to mess them up a lot for copyright reasons, but I still like it. This is probably the most automation heavy song on the album. Tunneler's Dream: This was quickly made for SAMPLESWAP, but I still liked it so I put it in. I love the chords, and I feel like I produced it pretty well. SCREAM (w/ RG13): We basically just sent the song back and forth, and I feel like some pretty good melodies came out of it. It was very fun to work on, and one of my favorite songs on the album. Clockwork (aka my mid first attempt at dubstep): I really don't like this song, but I felt like adding it anyways to see what people thought. Anticipation: I made this one on a Friday night pretty quickly. I feel like the drop turned out really good, and I like the instruments I used a lot. Sunrise: not much to say about this one, I just thought an interlude would be cool and I kinda wanted to slot this song in somewhere Reflection: Another Friday night song lol At some point I accidentally changed the tempo to 120 bpm instead of 150, but I liked it more that way with the vibe I was going for btw I used the ambient guitars pack (by spitfire audio) for everything but the the bass, piano, choir, and drums I think. 11.9 Lightyears: wongmy inspired song I made for xhmj, and decided to replace end 3 with. thats pretty much it. Clouds: I don't remember why I made this, or much about making it. It is from Febuary Flow: This one is from Ascending, which not that many people heard, so I figured it would be fine to throw in as a bonus track
